I stormed upstairs to my loft, stomped around, slammed my door shut, and stomped around some more. I made MY last decision too. I was leaving. Tonight. "I'll just take a bag of stuff, my car, and I-" I broke off, realizing something. "Shoot! I can't take my car," I whispered to myself. "Mom and dad can track it, even if I get new plates."

I sighed. "I will go on foot then," I whispered softly to myself. I took a hot shower, put on some fruity hand lotion, and got changed into new clothes. I put a few pairs of clothes in a backpack, along with some: gum, toothbrush and toothpaste, a towel, shoes, a blanket, shampoo, conditioner and body wash, a razor and hairbrush. I also put in some feminine products and some makeup. Hey, I didn't know how long I would be gone or where I would go!

I put on some comfortable sneakers, closed the backpack, and just for extra measure locked it with a combination lock (mostly just to keep animals out, and my stuff in).

My parents would be asleep by now, so I snuck downstairs and out the front door, grabbing my car keys and the spares on my way out. I don't trust anyone with my baby but me. I know I couldn't drive her, but if I couldn't nobody else could either (especially since my keys are specially designed for me). I snickered.

I shut the front door as quietly as I could, and snuck along, practically hugging the outside wall of the house and staying in the shadows, just in case mom or dad decided to look out their window, they couldn't see me. I snuck silently over to my car, my baby. I softly slid my hand along its snow white hood. I knelt down and kissed it (yes, I do mean I kissed it; I am very passionate about my car!). "I'll miss you baby," I whispered softly. "Maybe one day I'll get you back."

I started walking into the dark, mysterious woods behind my house without a single glance back.

***back to present***

I sighed happily. The warm sun felt amazing on my back. I was tired, and curled up in the warm rays of the sun. I layed down on top of the rock, closed my eyes, and drifted off to sleep. The last thing I heard was the gentle gurgling of the stream as I was enveloped by dreams.

**Ren POV**

I opened my eyes. All I could see was green on all sides. Lush green bushes, leaves, and moss growing everywhere. There was a small gurgling stream in the middle of the forest. A large, gray rock stood by the stream, covered in pure green moss. I walked over and felt it. It was like a sponge; so squishy and clean! I walked over and inspected the stream. It was a clear blue and you could see all the shiny little pebbles at the bottom. The stream sloped ever so slightly, so that meant it was running down the mountain. "Finally. Fresh, clean water," I thought to myself.

As I knelt down on the bed of soft earth, I bent over the stream, dipping my hands in. I washed the grime off and splashed some of the cool, crisp water on my face and neck. I dipped my head down to meet my hands as they brought some of the fresh water to my parched lips.

I smiled to myself as the cool water ran down my dry throat. It felt so good. I had been walking around in the woods for six days with nothing but some small snacks to eat; and I was almost out. I sat down on the top of the large rock, which was fortunately sitting in a patch of sunlight.

As I sat there, I thought about the reason I left.
