generation's sense of entitlement is
outrageous.
No one owes you an Iphone. Yes, you will still live even without a brand new laptop. No, all of your clothes don't have to come from American Eagle or Hollister. Nor do you need a Michael Kors purse or Coach sunglasses and those Uggs are ridiculously expensive. Before you write down a 40-item Christmas list, think about everything you're asking for. You believe that you deserve all those amazingly expensive and probably unnecessary knick knacks. Think about how much that costs your parents. Think about what they already do for you. Think about what you could be doing to actually help someone who really needs it. Think of the true meaning of the holiday. Try to be different than the rest of our generation. Ask for nothing. Make a difference. Be thankful for all the amazing people in your life. Remember the reason for the season. Just please, don't try to take advantage of a wonderful time of year.
