i wore a dress today to school. why? well i lied to everyone who asked. i said i just wanted to, or because i just got it and wanted to wear it, or because its hot out so i wanted to wear something light, or because the dress just looks pretty.


but that isnt even close to the truth.

every time i feel insecure about my body, or i feel ugly, or something happens and i cut again, i always dress up. or look nice. because i want to feel beautiful. i want to feel like people are looking at me because i look nice, not because of the scars on my arms or the fat on my stomach. i want people to see me as beautiful. when i am anything but.
