Chapter three; Roxy's POV.
As I pulled away
in my dad's car, I looked back at the life I once
had. I had some good memories here. Friends, marching
band, cross country, drum core, and Chris. That was my
life. I wish I could say all that would be waiting for me
at my new school, but I doubted it. Tyrone High School
was known as a 'ghetto' high school. So I
didn't see myself making many friends. Sure they had
marching band and cross country, but no drum core; which
was the most important thing in my life. And as for
Chris, well I didn't expect him to keep a long
distance relationship, and he didn't plan on it. We
were over before we were even a we. My eyes started
to water, so my dad reached across, grabbed my hand, and
gave it a little squeeze.
"Everything's going to get better baby girl, I
promise you that. I promise you'll be happier
here."
But I wasn't so sure. When we got there, I was
greeted by my new family. Joy. My step sister ran up and
hugged me. I wanted to push her away and ask my dad to
take me home; but I knew I couldn't. This was my home
now.

My story is going to be about a girl,
Roxanne, or Roxy for short, who is forced to move schools
and has her life flipped completely upside down. Most of
the story will be based off of events in my life, but
please feel free to send me suggestions on what you'd
like to see happen!
