The definition of "kid," according to dictionary.com, is "a child or young person." During the nineties, I was not an elderly lady. Therefore, I was a young person. By definition, I am a nineties kid.
Most of the people hating on us "90's babies" are, what? Fifteen? You were freaking three or four in the nineties, so who are you to talk? The oldest someone who claims to be a "90's kid" could've been in the nineties, by definition, is ten years old. Most of the people making this arguement (at least on this website) aren't 20+, so I'd say it's a safe bet that the real older nineties kids don't even care.
Okay, so you think I'm an "00's kid?" First of all, nobody I know has even used that term unless they're trying to count me out so that is not even a thing. Second of all, I was not born in the 2000's. Anyone who would ever call themself an "00's kid" would argue just as well that I wasn't born in the 2000's, therefore I'm not part of that. So where do you expect us to go? Are we the Mars kids now? Sounds fun. I was born in the year of Mars.
