This is a true story. Long but please read.
My cousin was 23 years old two years ago. He was out partying and decided to go and drink and drive. He got into an accident killing both himself and the person in the other car. The next morning I heard the phone ringing at strange times. I remember. It was Sunday. I went down stairs at 7ish. My parents looked at me and I got a chill down my spine. I knew something was extremely wrong. They sat me down. "Last night," my mom began. But she couldn't bring it to herself to tell me. "Last night," my father continued, "Joey got into an accident." And I could tell right then and there that he was not ok. My mom had to go to tell my grandpa. Joey was the last heir to his name. So I understand the drinking and driving thing. I am not going to touch a drink. People never think of the person who was drinking and driving though. They're the bad guy. But you know what? They have families and people they care about too. And you know what else? I forgave him. He made a terrible decision but I forgive him.
R.I.P Joey I love you always and forever.
Please don't drink and drive.
