Chapter 14

Bella's POV
 

How was I going to tell Justin that our plans had to be canceled for the day because I was spending that

time with Chaz? It's not like I didn't want to be with him. If chances are i'm never going to see him again,

I'd rather have at least a few days with him. Chaz wanted to go have lunch at our favorite diner, Jay's. They

always had my favorite. Roast beef sandwich marinated in sweet BBQ sauce. Best stuff in the world.

Justin had originally planned for us to go see Titanic in 3D. But, i've seen it a billion times. Missing it once

won't hurt right?

I had just finished straightning my hair when there was a knock at the door. I walked downstairs and

opened it to Justin. He smiled and leaned in to kiss me. I didn't dare back off. "Morning, beautiful." He

told me. I smiled back and let him in, silently shutting the door behind him. "You're early." I said. He

chuckled. "Well, studio session ended early. Thought i would come surprise you." He said. I sighed. Hes

making it so hard on purpose isn't he?

"Um, you know...We've both seen Titanic lots of times havn't we?" I asked. His eyebrow raised. "I guess.

But you've always talked about going to see it in theaters. Why?" There was a pit in my stomach the size of

my fist. "Chaz is moving." I blurted out. His face softened. "Where?"

"
California. On friday. He came over yesterday-" Suddenly, his body tensed up. "-too ask if we could spend a

few days together. I mean, chances are we wont see eachother for a long time. If ever again. Don't you

think it would be best?" I asked. He frowned. "Well, I-"

"Only until friday afternoon. Then, as soon as he leaves, I'm all yours." I said in a suductive voice. Trying

my best to get him too agree. He sighed and his body softened along with his face. "Alright." He whispered.

I smiled. "You're not mad?"

"Of course not. I understand, Bella. He is my bestfriend. To say no would just completly ruin our

friendship. I wont risk that." He tells me. I wrap my arms around his neck and hold him tight as he slides

his arms up my back. "Thank you." I whisper. I feel him smile against my neck.

The doorbell rings. Thats Chaz. I turn towards the door, then back at Justin. I can see in his eyes, he

doesn't want me too do it. "I'll be fine. I promise. I'll be back by eight tonight, Okay?" He nods. I slip on my

converse and open the door. Chaz smiles, but once Justin appeares behind me, his smile fades. "Bye,

Justin." I think about kissing him goodbye, but I don't. Instead, I follow Chaz out to his car and jump

inside. I then watch Justin leaning against the doorway until I cant see him anymore as we drive away.
