So, um...hi? I'm Layla.

I've been in this world for 15 years and I'm not too sure if I like this place yet.
I'd be lying if I said I cut the cake on April 11th 'cause I'm pretty much eating cake
all the time. But April 11th...that's my one-year-closer-to-death day, or birthday,
as some people like to call it. :D

I'm single but I'm unfortunately too awkward to mingle...it's too much effort anyway.
I used to worry what people thought about me, but now I've realised that there's no
point; no matter what you do, someone will hate you for it and someone will
love you for it.

I'm from Derbyshire, England. Congratulations if you know where it is...you've successfully
found the most boring place on Earth.

I, like many other teenage species, am crepuscular. Google it.

I'm slightly atelophobic, but then, who isn't?

I'm shy.

But that doesn't mean I'm boring.

I am an underdog. A fangirl. A wallflower. People like me are 'the kids' in the poem
'Here's to the Kids' by Pete Wentz.
You should Google that too, because that poem made me realise that it's ok to be true
to yourself, regardless of the malicious, idealistic sh*t that society tricks us into calling perfection.

I'm just your regular, quiet awkward potato who sits at the back of the classroom
amongst the other, more exotic vegetables of schooldom. I guess you could call me a geek.

I dream big, worry often and rock out always :)

So I have a friend who went to McDonalds drive through, ordered an ice cream cone, asked the employee if they believed in unicorns and when they said no, he proceeds to smash the ice cream cone onto his forehead (like a unicorn horn), yells believe! and drives away. Your comment about Kellin and unicorns in your about me made me envision Kellin with a McDonalds ice cream cone unicorn horn. :P

i'm basically just watching random vlogs on youtube, and looking for a good film to watch while headbanging and singing along to Hands And Faces by The Used. wow, my sundays are eventful! i really hope yours are more fascinating than mine.

Ahhh at least you talk to him :D that's really sweet of you...that's made my day haha :)) I'm glad I dindnt go to Glastonbury...it looks quite band and very *leans in and whispers* gangster/chavvy...but yes, anyway I'd rather go to Leeds or Reading :3 Oooh, that sounds like a perfectly eventful Sunday to me! Today, I got up at 11 -___- was forced to wear a hat to go to sainsburys with my mum because my hairs soooo greasy (and I was BOILING hot) then I sat in the garden reading Kerrang but it was all windy so it got ripped, so then I came inside to procrastinate or whatever, and realised that I have homework to do that's due in TOMORROW...I'd choose your Sunday over mine haha! :D

Hehe. Don't think that i didn't have homework! I had a ton of typing to do for this graphics project. When i chose graphics i thought it was all fun computer stuff but i was FAR from wrong.
Oh the start to your sunday's terrible!! I feel for you..well, at least you had a hat on (hopefully not an embarassing one). Once in a while when i ask my mum to buy me something she says 'if you want something, you have to come with us' so i just give up on my pringles ._. You should've stayed near the frozen food if you were hot and at the same time daydream about eating pizza off of kellin quinn's face.

Mmm pizza and kellin...and no I haven't used hem yet but they're in my room :D I like them a lot but my favourite is probably the YMAS one haha! Have you used them yet? i might save them for the holidays then judr cover myself in them...Are you in year 10 now or year 11?? Graphics sounds fun...I really regret choosing art, there's just too much to do! Our Sundays are pretty bad...oh the joys of being a teenager!! :3

I used three..i put them on my hands so the PE teachers wouldn't see, but that's a really bad place for a temporary tattoo because your hands get all sweaty.. :S i used the kurt cobain one, the kerrang logo and the smiley faces - i'm also kinda saving them for the holidays. they're surprisingly so easy to put on (sadly they're a bit TOO easy to remove too)
i'm in year 10..graphics might not be fun but.i wouldn't take it back though because i have some cool people in my class and it makes work more fun. i chose art too, but we're doing clay sculpting right now which i just refuse to do, and i draw instead. what are you doing in art?

Haha temporary tattoos are fun :D have you ever worn them on holiday? They leave white patches and you tan around them haha! I'm in year ten too and we're doing clay, which I hate and can't do. It's this natural forms project and my friend just grabbed a lump of clay, squeezed it and said it was a rock :D I really wish I'd picked music instead -__- what other subject(s) did you pick?

Hehe I won't wear them when it's too hot then! I'm actually not a massive fan of summer weather. I like spring weather..minus most of the rain. Yeah, clay is annoying. It's really unfair because i'm in the top set and I only have one free option. Those in the lower sets have 3. Apart from the core subjects which were not optional and all of us had to do (maths, english,science) and also PE which we have to do 2 times a week -__-, I had to pick a humanities subject - out of geog. and history - and i picked geography obvs, a language - i picked french - ,a technology subject (cause that's what my school specializes in) - i picked graphic products, and for my free choice i chose art.
i have such a crap day tomorrow - double science, double maths and english. luckly i get to miss one of the math lessons (whoo)
what subjects did you pick?

I'm not too mad about hot weather either tbh...I like the snow :D at my school, everyone has 3 free options but they tell you it's best to pick a humanities subject and a language -__- so I chose geography, French and art (whoa that's weird O.o) and then we had to pick a tech as well, but you could choose ICT so I did that haha! We have to do English, maths, science and religion as core subjects too which is stupid. Oh and PE which is rubbish and annoying and I hate it :(( wow, your Tuesday sounds pretty bad :3 I've got double ICT, art, maths (and were doing a mock exam) and English so yh...!

Whoa 0_o i think we might be twins. But you're the pretty one obviously. Its a shame about the tech subject.. If we chose the same thing for that too then that wouldve been seriously weird! Why do you have to do religion? Do you go to a religious school?
Your day tomorrow looks better than mine. I hope your mock exam goes well. I have sports day on friday and it is extremely encouraged that we take part. I think girls have it period 1&2 and boys 3&4. But because i refuse to participate i'm basically going to be the only girl in my class for the first two lessons. :S better than athletics though, isnt it?

Yayaya twins!! No, we're identical twins, and I've never seen you so you're probably the pretty one anyway :D we didn't get the choice of graphics at our school -__- I think I would've picked that, though in ICT there is a graphics unit...! I don't know why we do religion...we got told that every school in the country does it but that's obvs. not true :( it's really annoying, but I did my exam for that a few months ago...have you got any exams coming up?? And did you survive your 'amazing' day haha? We had sports day a few weeks ago, but I just sat on the field for three hours -__- I really hate sport with a passion :D but yes, athletics is the equivalent of hell....
