Chapter 3
All or nothing.
I woke up as the light shined
in through Casey's window and onto the bed. I looked over
seeiong Casey laying with his shirt off, innocently. I rolled my
eyes, grabbing my shirt off the floor. I reached for my
shorts, but the weren't there. I scooted out of bed and
walked around the room. His walls were a dark shade of blue with
the hardwood floors setting off a nice contrast. His walls were
covered with posters of football players and hockey stars. A
simple dresser sat in the corner of his room with the top covered
in football gear, underwear, and cologne. I walked over to a
wall with six shelves lined perfectly on the wall. Each shelf had
six trophies with either football or track or hockey trophies.
Walking over to the bathroom I noticed a picture of Casey and a
girl. I rolled my eyes and kept walking. When I came out of the
bathroom Casey was gone and my shorts were laying on the bed. I
shrugged and grabbed my shorts. I pulled them on and sat back
onto his bed, waiting for him to coem back. My eyes felt heavy
and I felt a kind of tired that sleeping couldn't fix. It
hadn't hit my mind that Dad was probably awake and going
crazy and I was probably going to get a stern talking when I got
home. I closed my eyes and thought about Mom's voice
comforting me at times when Dad's anger and rage over-powered
his thoughts. She's pull me onto her lap and strooke my hair
and whisper softly into my ear. "vous lui
avez donné tout ou
rien de beau." even though at the
time I had no idea what it meant, it soothed me.
"Hey," He smiled, interupting my thoughts.
"Uh, hi." I replied.
He ran a hand through his hair, "So, about last
night-"
I cut him off. "I don't care, Casey."
He raised his eyebrow at me. I shrugged my shoulders. "Take
me home."
He sighed and pulled on a shirt over his chisled body. He stormed
past me and grabbed his keys off the bed-side table. We got in
his car and he drove me back into town stopping at the end of my
street. He truned his car off and looked at me. His crystal eyes
tugged at my heart. "Don't go."
"I gave you all I could."
"You gave me nothing." He said staring ahead,
"Compared to what I wanted."
I shook my head. "Je lui ai
donné tout ou rien."
"What?" He asked.
"I gave you all I could."

Hold

(Chapter one)
Miah smacked my
leg, "Aiden!"
I sat up rubbing my eyes then looking at my watch, it read
11:11.
"Aiden," She smiled looking at the stars.
"It's 11:11."
Her blue eyes sparkled as the moon shined across the late
July night.
I cleared my throat. "Ok? So what?"
She threw her hands up in the air as a sign of attitude.
"Make a wish." She sighed.
"I wish you'd let me sleep," I said
sarcastically.
She laughed showing off her bright white teeth. "I'm
being serious, Aiden."
I ran my hands through my hair, looking at the grass."I wish
for my mom to come back." I said.
She looked over at me, but I
didn't look at her.She put her arms around me, her longs
black curls falling over me."Aiden, she'll always be
here." I scoffed,"I've heard that
before."
She pulled away and smoothed out her white dress. "I wish
for Tyer Ackerman."
"Are you really waisting your wish on a boy?"
She nodded.
I stared forward, my eyes began to tear up.My mom died four
months ago from breast cancer the doctors didn't diagnose it
until it was to late. She was beautiful short red hair and a
little nose, with bright green eyes.We were the perfect family,
Jonah, Mom, Dad, and myself. Then mom died Jonah got into drugs
and Dad stopped eating now my life's falling apart at the
seams and Miah's the only thing holding me together.
"This summer's not over yet, we're gonna make it the
best one." She said shaking her fist. "You just hold on
and see."

going. <3
