Chapter 4

Cody's POV

The last thing I saw was black. I didn’t know what to do. I just, laid there. But luckily, the ambulence found me. I was on the road, heading home with my older brothers friend, Todd. He was free of alcohol. But, that doesn’t mean that others weren’t. In fact, they were. The driver in front of us, clearly under the influence, was swirving from lane to lane. “Let’s just cut in front of them, it’s no use being behind them. The highways empty,” Todd had said. “But what if they crash?” I said. “Don’t worry,  they won’t.” Todd didn’t know what he was talking about. He cut in front of them, easily. But, they didn’t like that. They bumped the back of Todd’s car. “What the hell?” Todd was mad. He sped in front of them, then slowed to the speed limit. Seconds afterwards, the cop sirens were going off, the drunk driver, not wanting to get caught, crashed into our car and sped away. Our car tilted sideways, Todd and I both screaming. It started to roll down the hill. Todd got out quick enough to not roll down the hill. The engine was up in flames. I was stuck in the car. The seatbelt was not coming off, the airbag was in my way. I was sure I was going to die. Todd was in an ambulence, and soon, firemen, police, and paramedics were at my side, I was rushed into the ambeulence and that was all I remembered.

Chapter 3

Meg's POV

Cody, Cody, Cody. Do I feel bad for him? NO. Not at all. I have Justin now and I’m happy. Why should I care about Cody’s little “accident”. Really? C’mon. I can’t worry about EVERYONE else. Ugh. Where is this place that we’re supposed to be meeting up for lunch anyways? I should probably do a mapquest to see where it is, so that Grace, my older sister, can drive me.

Chapter 2

Lily's POV

I can almost hear the sunlight pouring in through my window. I hear loud crashes, everywhere. I look out of my balcony view, I see construction going on. Yesterday’s party was great, but, after Cody left a few people got phone calls and left immediatly. I wasn’t sure why. All I know? I made great new friends and we’re all meeting up for lunch. Well, some of us. Meg, Elizabeth, Maggie, and Jenn. Jane said that she might come, too. If she didn’t have volleyball. Meg eyed her when she said “Volleyball”. Meg. Yeah, I wasn’t too sure about her. I mean, she had a great boyfriend, Justin. Who have apparently only been a couple for a day, well, I don’t know. But, I’ve got to pick a great outfit. I have to look my best, especially with Elizabeth around. She is beautiful. She’s a model, of course, but I envy her looks....
any thoughts @naturekat

Elizabeth's POV

It had all just happened so quickly. One minute, I was at Caitlin’s party, and the next, well, we were all friends. I had made so many new friends at the party. Lily, Jenn, Maddie, Maggie, Emily, Grace, Caitlin, and Jane! We were all friends. Just like that. I was so happy. We all mixed in perfectly. But, I still wasn’t sure about Meg. She was kind of being a brat. But, that was her usual. If she didn’t get one thing, it turned into a whole drama. But, that was besides the point. It turned out, most of the people I met, lived in Cali. Except for Jenn and Lily. Lily was from West Virginia, and Jenn as from Ohio. We had agreed to meet down at the beach every single day, and do something fun. But, other than that, something else happened at the party. Something that was good for Meg, yet, terrible for Cody. I felt so bad, I just couldn’t understand. I mean, I felt so bad for him. I didn’t know what to do, I was stuck. When the drunk driver-

“Elizabeth Kors?” A ladies voice snapped me back to attention. I was at my modeling shoot. Not even prepared because of what had happened to Cody.

Caitlins POV

Official chapter

I’m going to talk to them. I have to. My poems have been dull lately. They’ve all been crappy haiku. “Um,” I tap a girl on the shoulder in the big group. She turns around, her perfect messy bun, and blue eyes. Almost tuquoise. “Can I help you?” The girl says sweetly. “Well, I’ve noticed that you’ve been hanging around here a lot. And, I live here on a house on the beach, and, well, not many of my friends live on a  house on the beach, so it’s hard for them to get out here. I was wondering if you wanted to all hangout sometime. I’m having a party tonight!” I say. “Great! We’ll be there,” said another girl with her stick-straight brown hair. “I’m Meg,” She introduced. “Elizabeth,” The blondy said. “Lucas,” the boy next to her who looked identical to Josh Hutcherson. “Justin,” Said another. “My names Grace,” a girl with short red hair spoke up. “Cool, I’ll see you tonight at six,” I said, walking off. Yes! I was so proud of my-

“OW!” A girl suddenly bumped into me. “Sorry,” She said. “It’s okay,” I was too happy to make this day bad. The girl started to walk off. “Wait,” I said. She looked about my age. “I’m having a party here tonight, with a ton of my, uh, friends. It’s at six. You’re invited,” I said. “Really? Cool. My names Lily,”

Caitlin's POV
Intro to characters.

Health kick. Right. My mom and dad are always on these. Which, sadly, means that I have no choice but to be on one, too. Great. Just great. And it’s especially hard being on health kicks when I live in Cali. I love it here. Lately, when I take my walks along the beach to get inspired for artwork, I see a group hanging out. I’ve managed to pick up a few names: Elizabeth, Meg, and Lucas. Thats it so far...I’ve been writing poems lately. Maybe I can get inspiration from the group. Maybe I’ll interact with them, someday, sometime. It’s summer after all.

Lily's POV

“Ladies and gentleman, please fasten your seatbelts. The aircraft will now be landing in beautiful California!” I couldn’t believe it. Just a few hours ago I was perfectly content in Virginia, planning to spend my summer fishing, swimming, and riding. With my friends. And then when my parents announced that we were spending the summer in California I practically flipped. I tried to stay strong, for my mom. But, I was screaming, and, I couldn’t help it. “NO!” I said, picturing myself in a movie when all the birds fly out of the trees when I screamed. But, yes, it had to be done. My parents had got my Aunt Lucy to maintain the farm. Ugh. I insisted on staying and helping, but, my parents said no. Plain and simple. They said that California would be fun over the Summer. Yeah, right. Thats not exactly my style. My parents had rented a house, near a beach. Where there was no fishing. My dad and I loved to fish. It was our thing to do. I mean, could that just be taken away? Just by one little sign?

<

“Lily, C’mon!” Dad said. “Coming,” I said. I grabbed my carry-on. Once we were in the taxi, I took in the midnight scenery. We had a late flight. This was nothing like West Virginia. Nothing like it at all. But, I supposed that the house was nice. It was a two story modern house, walking distance from the beach. I had a room with carpetting, a bathroom, and a balcony. It was right next to my parents’. Well, all that there was left to do was see where today took me, after I went to sleep.

kind of a slow start, naturekat, any ideas?

Character Introduction

Meg's POV

SPIKE! Yes! We win! Volleyball is my sport. Well, then again, I’m first in track...and in basketball. I’d call my self an athlete. I’m good, too. I’ve got friends, Justin wants me, and I’ve got all the money I need. Yeah, thats right. People are jealous of me. I get it. Whatever. I can’t waste my talent! Oh, well. “Hey, Meg. Can we talk?” Justin is calling me. Of course. “Yes, Justin?” I ask. “We need to talk.” He says. “Hey, Meg,” Elizabeth is coming up, too. “Great job scoring the last point,” She says. “Yeah,” Elizabeth is a friend. But, not a best friend. “Yeah, I know. Can you leave me alone? Justin was just about to ask me something.” I say. I twirl my hair. Lucas then comes up. “Hey! Lizzie!” Lucas says. Elizabeth has this look on her face, like she’s mad at me. “Everything okay?” Lucas says. “Yeah,” Elizabeth walks off, Lucas chases after. “So, Justin,”

Introduction!

Summer

Intro to the Characters
Lily's POV

The nice grass. Yes. There is nowhere else I’d like to live than West Virginia. The wild horses, the animals, the nature. I love it. My family and I own a quaint farm. I’m sitting on top of my shed right now. My dog, a cockerspanial, is sitting right below me, along with my calico cat, Jasmine! My family is looking into buying some new cows, my chickens are meaning the most to me right now, though. I’ve got three. Peanut, Chic, and Penny. “Lily! Lily!” Mom and Dad are calling me now. Great.

Intro to the characters
Lucas POV

The first thing that I noticed in kindergarden were her bright, big, blue eyes. I’ve had a crush on her ever since. And now, since we’re dating, it’s great! I love Elizabeth, or, as I like to call her, Lizzie. She’s everything.... She has been seeming upset lately, but, I guess thats just a little phase!

It's just an intro, so it's short.
