I REFUSE TO SINK

The name's Carrie. I'm 15 years young and living in the lovely state of Illinois. Music is literally my life. When I'm not doing marching band, making music/cover videos, playing flute, piano, guitar or singing, I'm most likely listening to music. I guess you could say I have a slight obsession with Justin Bieber, 1D, tumblr, twitter, Ian Eastwood, ABDC, and all 16 ICONic Boyz. Dance is my absolute favorite thing in the world. To be more specific, Hip Hop. I started when I was 3 and took for about 7 years until I had to quit because of sports and I just recently started back up. I could be having one of the worst day, but when I step into the studio and start the music its like all my problems just disappear.

Okay I need to rant, so don't you don't even have to read this if you dont want to.

So for my school we don't have a football team really and we hardly have basketball games here, so we have our homecoming in December. Well I'm a sophomore and our spirt week/ homecoming is in about 2 weeks or so.  And we decided we wanted t-shirts for Class Color Day. Anyone who wanted to make a t-shirt could. My "best friend" decided she was going to make one and no one else could. I made one and it said," Keepin' it C1A5SY " and the whole class voted on the shirts.

After the voting, I was shocked, my shirt had won. I just figured it'd be some populaty contest and she would win, just like she always does because everyone loves her.  Our class sponser, whose my older cousin, ended up getting eight emails saying how much they hated my t-shirt and how bad it sucked. I was crushed, literally I spent a bunch of time working on that shirt and it got smashed down.  The teacher said we couldn't even get shirts anymore since people were so rude to her. We decided that we were going to get them anyway and find a way to pay for them and stuff. My friends and I have been busy all morning working on them and trying to lower the price for the kids that dont have a lot of money.

My so called "best friend" told me she didnt like what we did to the t-shirts and that her design was better and was ticked that  we we're using mine.  It just ticked me off and ruined my day. -.-

If anyone actually read my rant, I love you.

Here's to the kids who

are afraid to grow up.

My sophomore homecoming is tomorrow night,
all I want is to actually feel beautiful and somewhat skinny in my dress.
I'd give anything to have him look at me like,
I'm something more than his best friend.

I'd give anything just to be voted on court for homecoming,
but I'm not one of those girls who wins. She'll win just like she always does.

And the worst thing is you

cant tell. You can't tell that the

person beside you may be

heart broken. You can't tell if

they are hurting all over. You

can't tell if their struggling to

smile. You can't tell if they

just want to break down and

cry. And the sad thing is;

they wish you could tell.

out for her.
