My name's Jennifer. I go by Jen. You may think I'm a little too young to be on witty, or spend half of my time on the internet, but I don't think so. I'm not a 7th grade whore, like some may believe. You may believe that because most of the girls in my school are drama filled bitches that have nothing better to do than dat every guy in sight. Well, I'm not one of them. Typically, I'm a good girl. I get straight A's and am typically shy. I do get butterflies and I have a crush on this guy. His name is Matt and he lives in Ohio. Yeah, yeah--I get it. "12 year olds should have boyfriends in there school, blah blah fucking blah." But sometimes, those that are miles away are closer to you than ones right next to you.

He cosplays my favorite country from Hetalia, and I have a good feeling he likes me too. He cosplays Japan<3 He calls me his waifu xD But like I said, he may be in another state, but at least he's a crush and not a fuck buddy. I don't like 10 year old girls that think they HAVE to have a relationship with a boy. That's just bullshit. I love all you guys--especially the girls like me--and my followers. I feel the need to tell Steve thank you and that I love you. c:

Chapter 2
It was looking at Kim. It had to be looking at Kim. No one would just stare at me like that. Kim sat next to me, watching my widened eyes not blink. She prodded my shoulder with a green painted nail.
"Daphne?.. Are you okay?" she asked. "What are you looking at?"
I shook my head.

"Nothing. I wasn't looking at anything."
"Yes you were," she insisted. "You're eyes were all wide. They don't normally do that."
"No," I said firmly. "I wasn't."

She knows me to have an attitude sometimes. That's why she stops arguing after I snap at her. I don't like doing it though. Makes me feel guilty. Only because she's so cute and adorable. Kim reminds me of a fluffy little bunny. She's small, fragile, sweet; but she can bite off your fingers if needed. Although the "biting" only occurs once you get her so mad.

I watched as the silhouette started moving closer to Kimmy and me. My heart started to race. I could feel the adrenaline pumping. What if this guy was a serial killer? Rapist? Just a creepy guy in a white van? Doubted it. But I had to be careful, still. When the figure came into direct view, I tried to catch a glimpse of his feature's.
Short hair, the bangs tipped upward with gel. Thin face, but a side of chubby cheeks. The kind your Great Aunt Matilda likes to pinch and squeeze. Thin body, slightly masculine, but not much. And from what I could see, a red t-shirt and blue jeans.
Kimmy looked shocked. Her bright green orbs widened and her jaw hung slack. My eyes trailed back up the the kid and ai cocked an eyebrow at him. So he was staring at me.
"Hi," he said, a deep, sexy voice bellowing out. "I was sitting over there-" (he gestured toward the rocks) "-and truthfully couldn't help from noticing you."
I snorted. "That is the most typical pick-up line ever. Think of it yourself?"
"Yes, actually I did," he threw his head back in laughter. "Thanks for noticing."

Let's get one thing straight; Kim's the kinda gal for automatically getting a guy whenever she wants. Looks, baby, looks.
 
Kimmy scrambled to her feet and thrust a hand out at him. "I'm Kimberly."
He firmly grabbed her hand with a slight shake. "Ethan," he said. "What's your friend's name?"
I scoffed. "It's Daphne. Daphne Taylor. Don't bother to remember it, no one does. Also-- don't wear it out."
Ethan laughed and his brown orbs drifted to Kim's greens. "She always this cute?"

Chapter 1

I walked down the street, hands in my light grey hooded jacket. The wind tossed my dark hair backwards, chilling my cheeks and nose. I liked nights like this. Nights alone. When no one bothered me. Unless, of course, I bothered them first. Which happened most of the time anyway. I'm not that popular. But if someone does talk to me, it's mostly either to aggravate me, or it's my best friend, Kimberly. Or my other--Seth.
Pretty Girl rung out of the speakers on my cell and I checked the screen. Kim.

"Hey, Daph! What'cha up to?" she squeaked. (Her voice was high pitched and sweet sounding.)
"Nothing. Just heading to the beach again," I said. The silence over the phone was killing me. "What are you up to?"
"Just sitting here.."
"Can you come down tonight?" I asked, clucking my tongue.
"No. Sorry Daph. I have to go though. Dad's about to come upstairs. I'll sneak out later, though, okay?" she whispered, and hung up the phone.

I shrugged. Didn't matter to me much anyway. As long as she got to come. My hazel eyes flicked to the nearly white sand and I felt the corner of my lips turn upward. I unzipped my jacket and sprinted onto the sand, tiny specks flying loosely everywhere around me. When my legs stopped moving and the sand stopped flying, my chest heaved, out of air. I threw my jacket on the ground and dropped onto it. My hair sprawled out onto my shoulders and on the sand, my arms folded behind my head. Suddenly, I felt a large clothe being draped over my face and i cocked an eyebrow. It was lifted off of my head and I saw pretty green eyes staring at me. Kimberly smiled and sat down next to me.

"Hi Daphne," she smiled bigger. "I'm here."
"I can see that," I laughed.

She looked awfully pretty right then. Not that I'm like that. Because I'm not. It's not wrong or anything. Her waist length light brown hair was tied up in a red elastic as a bun on her head. Her skin was slightly tanned and the moon shone off of her unblemished face perfectly. She wasn't short, but she was slightly shorter than me. I loved her to death.

We lay on the sand for a while, just talking about girly things. That's how she was. The sound of the breeze silently and quickly lulled me into a deep sleep.

When I awoke, it was still nighttime. The moon glowed in the sky, illuminating the ocean and casting a shadow behind the boulders that surrounded the beach. Speaking of the rocks...
                              When I sat up, I saw a silhouette of a figure sitting on a large rock.
                                                        It appeared to be looking at me.

I hope you all enjoyed this chapter! It's short right now, but I promise they'll be longer in the future. It's also short..

Daphne Taylor (Main): Dark brown shoulder blade length hair, pale skin, average in height, hazel eyes.
Kimberly Simmons: Very light brown waist length hair, fair skin, average in height, bright green eyes.
Ethan Lopis: Short blonde hair, tannish skin, tall, brown eyes with golden speckles.
Seth Johnson: Light brown shaggy hair, very pale skin, tall, blue eyes.
