I told my best friend that I believed Eminem was my Idol. She gave me the most horrible look and threw her head back and laughed. I couldn't believe it; until she explained. She said that Eminem had got into drugs. He's done bad things, the fact that he's a rapper in general, isn't a reason to idolize him. He's been divorced. She told me how he had a rough family life. This time, I laughed. She didn't see what I saw in him. His determination, his passion. Eminem had a high school sweetheart. Whom he did marry, even though they went through 2 divorces. After getting into numerous drugs, and having relationship issues. Eminem pulls himself back together and realizes what he did wrong. He tells the world he is going to change, and no one can stop him. People who think less of him, don't even give Eminem second thoughts. He's full force until he gets what he wants. He's goals become achievements. Nothing can stand in his way. Eminem can express himself, even if it's in songs. Maybe he swears and isn't pleasant some times. But he knows. He knows, what he did wrong and he knows he's going to change. No matter who's with him. No matter who's against him. My friend didn't question me again.
