Hi gorgeous(:

My name's Courtney. I love hanging out with friends, music, and dancing. Your typical 13 year old. I've been dancing since I was 4, so eight years. I take ballet, jazz, hip-hop, contemperary, and company (which is a mix of different dances in one.) I've been obssessed with the Hunger Games series since the first chapter. Team Peeta! I fyou haven't read it, you really should. It's freaking amazing.

I should be posting quotes more often now. I've been really busy lately. But, it's Christmas Break! Enjoy it.

Thanks girlies(:

You Turned My Life Around - Chapter 24

Addie's POV

"Wanna go somewhere?" asks Riley. Everyone had already left after a round congrats.
"Sure. Where?" I ask.
"You remember those drive-in movie we used to go to when we were little?"
"Yeah," I say.
"Well, there's one tonight, and I was wondering if you wanted to go with me," he says, smiling at me.
I giggle at his goofy grin. "Wouldn't the be considered a date?"
He shakes his head. "No, because there will be no touching or kissing."
"Oh," I say, looking down.
"You sound disappointed," he says, "I like it."
I laugh, walking past him to my room. "You wish."

********************************************************************

I walk out of my room in a flowy teal shirt with dark skinny jeans, silver shoes, and a silver headband. I look in the mirror next to Riley's room to make sure my make up looks okay and smile. I actually feel pretty again. I practically hop down the stairs to go on this "non-date" with Riley.
"Ready?" he asks, looking up from the TV.
"Yep," I say, smiling.
He looks at me, looking his smile for a second. I frown too, wondering what's wrong.
"What?" I ask, looking down to make sure something didn't happen on the way down the stairs.
"Nothing, it's just.. you look gorgeous," he says, coming over to kiss my cheek.
I blush, making sure none of his parents are in sight. "Let's go."
He takes me by the hand, leading me to my car. Yes, we're taking me car because he wants to text drive it before I do. Overprotective little boy..

Once we get to the movie, I notice all the kids on the ground. I remember siting there with Riley and Melody, dreaming of the day when our parents wouldn't have to supervise us. When a guy would take me. When we'd sit in the car and hold hands. After the accident, I didn't think anyone would want to get near me with my scars and burns.
I notice RIley heading to the back of the car. "What are you doing?"
He doesn't answer, but goes the trunk anyways. He presses a button and the seats fold over, leaving the perfect amount of room for the two of us. I giggle, heading over the seat to get to the back. He grabs the pillows I have in the car for the camping trip tomorrow, laying them out for us. I lean back on my pillow, glancing over at Riley.
"If gramps knew I could lie in the back of this car with you, he never would've let you buy it."
He chuckles. "If my dad knew, he wouldn't have."
I giggle, looking at his big, brown eyes.
"So, gorgeous, I never got to congragulate you about the test," he says.
"You don't have to. I've had enough congrats."
"I'm practically your boyfriend, of course I have to," he says, pecking my lips.
"Hey, I thought you said no touching or kissing," I tease.
He rolls his eyes. "Yeah, yeah."
"So, how do you plan on congragulating me, future boyfriend?"
He reaches in his pocket, pulling out a little box.
"For me?" I ask, brightening up.
He laughs. "Yeah, for you."
I take it from him, opening it carefully. Inside is a charm bracelet that has our intials carved into the only charm on it. I smile, putting it on my wrist. "It's beautiful."
"Just like you," he says, looking up at me.
I look up at him, blushing and smiling.
I feel him leaning in, and forfet about our litle agreement back home. I lean in, too, closing my eyes. The first few kisses are sweet and gentle. Then, they grow more rapid and passionate. I pull away after awhile.
"We're in a car. This is just awkward," I say, giggling.
He chuckles. "Guess you're right. Hey, I'm reserving a place on your charm bracelet."
"For what? There's already a charm for you on there."
"Just wait, you'll see." he says.
I raise my eyebrows, but nod. "Whatever you say."

Hey guys! Sorry I haven't wrote in forever. Been grounded. Kinda boring chapter but the camping trip will be more interesting... I don't when I'll be posting next, but hopefully soon.

You Turned My Life Around - Chapter 23

Riley's POV

I sat in my living room, surrounded by friends and family, waiting to hear about Addie. She had taken her drivers' test again today, and everybody was hopeful she'd made it. My mom took her, letting nobody else come. I begged and pleaded, but she wouldn't budge. Tammy, Tess, Chase, Anne, Matt, Curt, my dad, and Addie's grandpa waited along with me. I'd been pacing since I'd heard she started the test. My dad and her grandpa were praying for good news to make it home, and I snickered at how ridiculous they looked.
"Do you think god has ever heard more prayers for one child to get their liscense?" asks Dad, laughing slightly.
"I'd doubt it," says Addie's grandpa, starting to pace along with me.
I know it seems stupid to get all worked up over this sort of thing, but it means everything to Addie. I really want this to work out for her for once in her life.
"What time is it?" I ask, trying to get a look at the clock.
"That's the sixth time you've asked that," Tammy sneers.
I roll my eyes, directing my attention to the time. It's 3:15. They should be back soon, because the test started at 2.
"Where are they?!" I ask to no one in particular.
"Calm yourself!" says Anne, rocking back and forth in the chair she's in.
"How can you all be so calm? It's been forever since they left!" I shout, scratching the back of my neck nervously.
"They'll be here any minute. Just wait," Chase says.

When I finally hear the door open 30 minutes later, my mom appears. I stand up almost instantly.
"So..? How'd it go?" I ask, checking her face for any signs.
She wipes away what I'm sure is a tear and just walks straigh to her room without a word.
Addie walks in a mintue later, wiping away tears of her own. I head over to her, ready to give her a hug, when she reaches into her back pocket and hold out her own liscense.
"You got it,Charlie?!" I shou, pulling her in for a tight hug.
She smils brightly, nodding her head. "Yeah."
"Finally. Took ya long enough," Tammy teases, hugging Addie.
"Congrats, kid," my dad says, messing up her hair.
Congrats are exchanged, and then I finally realize something.
"Why'd mom never come back?" I ask.
"Really good acting," Addie says, smiling.
I laugh, pinching her cheeks like a child. "I'm so proud of you."
She laughs, pushing my hands away from her face.

"Come with me, Addie," her grandpa says.
"Why?" she asks, following him.
"Close your eyes," He says, nodding to me to show me I can come.
She giggles, but closes them. I reach her, and grab her hand as her grandpa leads us to the garage.
"Okay, open them," he says, stepping aside to reveal a brand new car.
Her jaw drops, she freezes in place, and she doesn't say anything.
"She's speechless. It's a miracle," I joke, waving my hand in front of her face.
She finally comes to, smacking my arm. "It's brand new! It's too much, grandpa!"
"Hey, it wasn't me. It was Riley," he admits, poining to me.
"You did this?" She asks, stunned.
I just nod shyly, and she reaches up to kiss me on the cheek.
"Thank you," she says, wrapping herself in a hug.
I smile, kissing her forehead protectively.

Cute yet boring chapter(: I'm going to do one or two more chapters before the campout!

You Turned My Life Around - Chapter 23

I opened my eyes, meeting Riley's.
"Hey sleepyhead," he said, kissing me sweetly.
I smiled. "Hey."
"You didn't have any nightmares last night," he said, getting out of the sleeping bag.
I yawned, stretching my arms. "I know. It was nice."
He nodded. "Hey, Tammy called you."
I jumped up out of the sleeping bag. "Kay. I'll go call her back."
I went down the stairs towards their home phone. Ugh, I hate not having a phone. It got destroyed in the crash, and I never came up with the money to buy a new one.
"Hello?" Tammy answered.
"Hey. It's Addie," I said.
"Oh, hey Addie! What's up?"
"Nothing, just got outta bed. Did you call me?"
"Yeah, I need to ask you and Riley something," She said.
"Go ahead," I said.
"Is he there with you?"
"Well, he's upstairs, but I'll pass on the message."
"Okay. I was just wondering if you guys wanted to come on a camping trip with us. It'd be you, Riley, me, Curt, Anne, Tess, Chase, and Matt. Whaddaya say?" she asked enthusiastically.
"Sure, when?" I asked.
"Next week."
"Okay, sounds great. Y'all wanna carpool with us?" I asked.
"Y'all?" She questioned, laughing, "Finally got some hick in you. But sure. Sounds great."
I smiled.
"Cool. See ya then."
"Kay, bye."
I hung up the phone, heading back up the stairs to Riley's room.
"Hey, Riley. Are you doing anything next Saturday?" I asked.
"Don't think so. Why? Like a date?" He teased, wriggling his eyebrows.
"You wish," I joke, playfully flicking his forehead.
His smile quickly transformed into a frown. "What then?"
I laughed. "Camping trip."
"What? With who?" He asked, sitting beside me on his bed.
"Your friends. Tammy, Chase, Anne, and them."
"Sounds fun. Sure, let's go," He said.
"Yay! I really need to get out of your house. There's nothing interesting left for me to do," I said.
"Oh, really?" He says, scooting closer to me.
I gulp, feeling his breath on my neck. "Nope."
"How about now?" He asks, moving so our faces are cenimeters apart.
I shake my head. I won't give in.
He moves to where our forheads are touching, and brushes a hair away from my face.
"I'm entertained," He jokes, leaning forward.
I finally give in through temptation. I pull away after a short amount of time. "Perv."
He laughs, pulling me back in for another kiss.
I smile through each french kiss, wrapping my arms tightly around him. He does the same. Before I know what I'm doing, I lay down on his bed. He gets on top of me, french kissing me repeatedly. I'm so lost in the moment, I don't realize what this could mean. He takes off his shirt, and I pull him back down to me, kissing him faster then I even can describe.
Thankfully, his mom knocked on his door, calling for him to come help with something.
We both pull away, breathing heavily.
"Coming," He shouts back.
I get off of his bed awkwardly without a word, heading back to my room through the bathroom that we have to share. I fall on bed, realizing what I just risked. I close my eyes, trying to erase the thoughts from my brain that I almost could have ended up a mother.

I hope you guys liked this chapter, I wanted to write it. Comment for suggestions for the camping trip! Drama, romance, I don't care. Thanks for reading!(:

You Turned My Life Around - Chapter 21

I pulled away from the Bennets' grip. "Just let me die. No one would miss me."
Riley shook his head furiously. "No, I would."
"You're the only one."
"I would miss you, too!" Mrs. Bennet screeched.
"So would I," Mr. Bennet said.
"No one else would," I admitted, looking at the ground. "I assure you everyone around me wishes it would have been me instead of Melody, or even my mom. Dad would have been better off with her alive, not me. I'm a burden to everyone around me."
Riley came in front of me, gripping my shoulder tightly, making me look him directly in the eyes. I could tell he'd been crying for awhile.
"Don't you dare say that," He started, "I could make a huge list of people that would miss you. Everyone in that church would be on it.Tammy, Anne, Matt, Curt, Tess... They would miss you dearly, just like me. Killing youself wouldn't help anything. It would just hurt everyone around you. Sure, we miss Melody and your mom, but not anymore then we would miss you. You have an amzing voice, incredible faith, great friends, a wondeful personality, and you're gorgeous. I don't know why you'd want to throw all of that away."
I sniffed, not knowing how to answer, so I just hugged him tightly. That was by far the most reassuring and up-lifting speech I've ever heard.
After awhile, Mr. Bennet tried to pull us away. I let go unwantigly. I felt safe in his arms.
I finally found the words to speak. "That was a wondeful speech, Riley."
He smiled slightly. "I guess I deal with my emotions through speech."
I laughed for the first time in over two days. A laugh that only Riley Bennet could bring over me. A laugh that nobody else has heard. A laugh that assures me, once again, that I love him.

Needless to say, it was a very awkward car ride home. Not only because I just tried to commit suicide, but Riley and I were acting all lovey-dovey again. I sat in the car wrapped in his arms the entire time, him whispering encouraging things into my ear. I don't think I stopped smiling the entire time. His dad kept giving him glares. I kew he was going to have a talk with him later.
When we arrived at his house, RIley ran around, opening the door for me.
"Thank you kind sir," I tease, kissing his cheek.
"Your welcome, your hiness," He says sweetly, smiling.
He walked me to the steps, his arm wrapped around my waist.
"Can I talk to you for a second, Riley," his dad asks.
He nods. "Sure," He says, letting go of me.
I let him, knowing full well what this is about. I've still got 7 weeks in his house, then I can move in with my dad somewhere near, and we can finally go out on a date. I smile at the thought, opening the door and walking in.
It's okay though, I need to talk to Mrs. Bennet about this. I need to assure her I'm not suicidal, but was overwhelmed with fear, memories, and emotions. I couldn't stand it anymore. But I've finally realized how precious my life is, thanks to Riley.
Mrs. Bennt comes in, dropping her purse on the coffee table, and heading to the kitchen. Probably to fix dinner.
"You know I'm not suicidal, right?" I ask, looking at the ground.
She laughs slightly, but nods. "I know, sweetie. I thought Riley told you, or I would have told you myself. I can't imagine how painful it would be to see him."
I nod. "Very."
She smiles. "But you can't get out of hand like that again, because we aren't always going to be near to help. You're going to have to learn how to control your own emotions. It won't happen quickly, but it will happen eventually."
I nod. But, how long until then? How long until I learn to deal with my own feelings? Until I take my life in my own hands? Until I don't depend on someone else? Until I can face the world on my own?

Hey girlies(: I just wanna thank you all for reading my story so faithfully. It means alot. I probably scared you there, with the suicide attempt. Don't worry, there are no more suicdial thoughts(: And, this story isn't close to being over yet, I've got  a lot planned for it. There will be more Riley/Addie love in the next chapters, now that she's dealt with her emtions. I hope you enjoy it and thanks for the postive feedback, keep leaving it!

Sweetie, please, my phone battery lasts longer then your relationships.
