The thing is though, not every women gets rap..ed. You cant say women have it worse just because more women get ra..ped then men, when, in a life time, not every girl will get ra..ped . Also just because more women get ra..ped doesn't mean men don't too, ra..pe is ra..pe no matter who it happens too and its just as bad for both sexes no matter which one it happens to most.

Also in some countries the same exact things happens to men. Men are being forced to cut off their privates, they are getting "milked" until they die, and they are being treated like slaves, JUST LIKE WOMEN.

Also, men get periods too. I learned this in science. There is a time of the month where men get moody, they tend not too sleep as well, and they have their own problems. Also, men have their own type of menopause.

Also, you cant add abortion into this because that is a opinion. You dont have to tell people you have had an abortion, in fact, its one of those personal things you only tell people you are close too. My mother has had abortion and she is treated very well is very well respected. There will always be people who dont like abortion, but thats life, there will always be things that people dont like you have to get over that

They've done studies and the amount of times a man has been kicked in his over a lifetime adds up to more pain than a woman being pregnant and giving birth over 150 times does.

Yes, I did go under the fact that a man stays with the women over a pregnancy because I'am not going to include teenagers or adults who make mistakes, even though the male is still obligated to stay with legal matters, and I didn't add the fact that the women may have been ra..ped because that doesn't happen to every women and cant be applied to the overall argument.

Under most circumstances, the man stays with the women until she gives birth, then if he doesn't love her he can leave, but if he just leaves he is doing something illegal and can be arrested for not giving child support. So most of the time men do stay with the women until the the baby is born, its his child too and most men do man up and take the responsibility. Also just because a man and woman are not married when they have a baby doesnt mean they are not going to be.

Although I do like the point you brought in about women equality because that does justify why women may have it worse because that is a problem.

Also, I just realized I said also a lot in this so sorry about that lol

According to RAINN, 1 in 6 American women have been a victim of an attempted or completed in their lifetime, versus 1 in 33 american men.

And I can add in abortion, because I'm not talking about the stigma associated with abortion, I'm talking about how people are constantly trying to take that away. Like in texas, with that bill that was passed recently. because your mum DID get an abortion and it was her prerogative to do so, but imagine if she had been forced to keep that baby, and the detrimental effect it would have on both her and her child's lives.

But as somebody else said,

Ignoring the whole childbirth/ ba..ll kicking debate, I've never been through either, but I get constant monthly cramps that bring me almost to tears and last for 5 days. And guys don't.

Also we have a ticking biological clock. Men can father babies as young as 12, and as old as 96.

I'm not saying it doesn't suck to be guys. They do get the most social pressure to suppress their feelings and act "like a man" and that if they don't, they're ga..y, or a "girl", but in all seriousness, I don't understand why it's necessary for so many guys to seem "masculine", or why "ga..y" is such an insult.

And like someone else said in the comments, we do live in a mostly patriarchal society where by definition, men hold a majority of the power. How many countries at the moment have female leaders?

Yeah, I really wish Steve didnt do this. I understand some quotes may be triggering, but there are very few like that, and they usually dont get popular anyway. Quotes like yours or others are more inspiring than anything to be honest. Seriously, just because something isn't "joyful" doesn't mean its not inspiring or worthy. Besides sad quotes balance Witty out so its more unique and not one sided.

when you go to www.wittyprofiles.com/quotes/suicidal, the quotes are all from at least six days ago, while I have posted quotes since then with that tag. It is so for other tags as well, and I follow many users who post these things. Their posts are not showing up if they have tags such as depression. Also, the quotes with tags like depression, are not showing their codes. It happened six days ago, and since then the only place you can see quotes like that is if you go onto that person's profile.

Your second last paragraph assumes that it is a relationship where the man has stuck around, and the baby is something that both parents wanted.

I think it would be fun if we could do polls or surveys where we vote for something because people are always making quotes along the lines of "Fave if...or comment if..." So polls could reduce that in some way.

It would also be cool if ever once in awhile a competition was posted to see who can make the coolest format, or who could write the most (insert adjective) quote.

Or maybe you could tack quotes on your own page. Like if someone were to come to your profile, you could tack your favourite quote youve written to the top or something like that.

Also maybe, I dont know how easy this would be, or if it would be possible, but maybe there could be something that goes through a search engine that when you add a quote, that if it isnt a original or if its from someone famous or from a song, it gives credit at the bottom of the quote (like next to your name) to what it belongs too.
Or maybe there could just be a section to give the credit outside of the quote area to write where the quote came from so it doesn't take away from the quote itself.

idk just a few ideas off the top of my head :]
