Chapter 6

Dan went to the bathroom, and me and Josh had some time alone.  "Does this kid look fimilar to you?" Josh asked me. "Nope." I said, looking at my phone.  "I swear, I know this kid from somewhere." He said again.  "How would you know him?" I asked, still on facebook.  "No idea, he just looks like someone I know. I mean I thought you would know him, hes kind of flirty with you." Josh said.  "Never seen him." I replied.  I tried my best to ignore Josh, since this was a very akward conversation.  Dan came back from the bathroom and was dressed in his basketball clothes. "Are you coming to open gym?" He asked Josh.  "Oh yeah, I totally forgot!" Josh said. He ran into his bathroom very quickly and in less than 2 minutes he was ready. He ran out the door,"Bye Cass. Love you." Josh said running out the door. Dan was sitting on the bed very seductive saying my name. "Dan, I cant." I said.  "Cassie, I just want to talk to you." He said. "Well thats suprising." I mumbled.  "For real, I'm not that type of guy." he said.  "Okay." I said sarcasticly. "Don't you  have open gym." I asked.  "I'm skipping to talk to you!" he said getting irrated. "Okay, geez about what?" I asked.  "I miss you, and I know you made a mistake acouple years ago, but I promised you something and you graduate next year. I wanted to know if you would like to start "talking" again." he asked me.  "Dan, I have a boyfriend. I mean it wouldn't be that hard except for the fact that he is your roomate. I still have feeling for you too and I would love to start hanging out and "talking" again. But its not the best time for it. I want you to keep your promise and have a family with you but its not a good time." I said.  He gave me a puppy dog look. "Stop! I can't take it." I yelled, tackling him onto the bed, kissing him just like old times.

Chapter 5

We heard foot steps so we stopped, Dan quickly went back to what he was doing and I checked my phone. "My Mom already brought this?" Josh asked. "Yeah." I said not looking up from my phone. "Come on lets eat. Dan!" He yelled. Dan quickly came out of his room, "Yummy, Pizza Hut my favorite." he said, grabbing a slice. I grabbed a slice too, all the cheese decided to fall off, "Damn." I muttered, picking it back up and putting in back on the pizza. Dan couldn't help but laugh. I gave him a glare. "So what happened while I was gone?' Josh asked. "Well Lyndsey and Tyler broke up, Kendra and Jade are going to the mall, Amber is in Florida, Tash-." he cut me off, "Facebook, I get it." he said. I put my phone away and talked with the boys, "This is fun, I'll be coming here all the time." I said. "Thats a great idea! I'll have my girlfriend stay here every weekend! Perfect." Dan said. "What?" Me and Josh said at the same time, "Girlfriend?" I asked. "Stay here every weekend?" Josh asked. "I'm just kidding with you all, I don't have a girlfriend." he said winking at me. "Hey, you better watch it." Josh said. "What? Its just that shes just so beautiful, I can't help but kiss her, kiss her right now." Dan said. " No!" Josh yelled. "Dude, chill I was just kidding, you can have her. It was a joke ." Dan said. I just sat there smiling,and knowing that it wasn't any kind of joke.

Chapter 4

"Really?"Dan asked. I shrugged my shoulders, "I don't know how, or when. But I would like to be with you again." I smiled. "Oh, your too kind." he smirked. "Don't  get your hopes to high, I don't know how this will work." I said. He gave me a puppy look. "It's not my damn fault!" I said. "Geez, I was only kidding." "Geez I was only kidding." I mocked him."Come here Cass!" he said, running up to the bed I was sitting on. "STop!" I yelled, but I couldn't help but laugh. He tackled me and pinned me to the bed, kissing me. I couldn't help but kiss back, and it turned into old times, I times I miss. When we could just make out whenever we wanted, and didn't have to worry about our new partners. "Cassie, Josh! What the hell." Mrs. Andrews said. "Mrs. Andrews, thanks for getting us pizza. Josh went to the directory to get another key." I said.  "A little friendly with the room mate. I will just take that as a "Welcome" kiss." She said putting the pizza on the bed. "Save some for Josh, don't want this kid taking everything of his." She said shaking her head and walking out. "Tell Josh to call me." "Welcome kiss? More like I'm going to steal your son's girlfriends kiss." Dan said laughing. I just gave him a look, and we continued to kiss.

Chapter 3

I continued to walk back to Josh's car. I carried another box up, and set it in the dorm room floor. "Josh, I'm going to go get pizza for you and your roommate." Mrs. Andrews said. I stood there in the door,"I'll go with you!" I said to her. "No stay here with Josh. I'll be back soon." She said. "Well I have to go check in at the directory." Josh said, " I'll be back in 10 minutes. Stay here Cassie." he said walking out. I walked over to Josh's bed and sat there. "Cass, we need to talk things over." Dan said. "Like what?" "Us." he said "Us? There is no us anymore." I replied. "Do you remember anything?" He asked. "What the hell are you talking about." I said, quite mistaken. "That were going to get married after you graduate, and have a family." he said. "Thats when we were together! Its been 2 years! We moved on with our lives!" I yelled. "Chill out, I just want to work things out, I want to be with you." he said. I looked him right into the eyes, " Dan, you know sharing a room with my ex is going to help us out." I said. His eyes perked up,"Us?" he asked. "Just give me time." I smiled

Chapter 2

"Cassie?" Dan said. The second I looked at him, I knew I loved him. "Dan!" I said. "What are you doing here?" he asked. "Helping my boyfriend move into his dorm room." I said. "What room?"  "456." Josh barged in. "Room mates!" Dan said. "Awesome." Josh said walking down to the elevator. "Cassie,your dating him? Way to down- grade." Dan said. I gave him a weird look, "Yeah, okay." I said looking at him. "Another college boy. Wow Cass." he said. "Jealous much?" I asked, with a smirk on my face. "Cass, its been two years, you don't think I haven't moved on with my life, my have you been mistaken." He said, pulling our his phone. "This is the new "dream girl". She goes to Virginia Tech, far away from Maine. But I love her, so it's all that matters." he said. "Pretty." I said politely, but really meaning it. "Jealous much?" he said back. I just starred at him, and shook my head no. He continued to walk to his dorm room, and looked back at me and said," We should hang out sometime, text me?" I waved at him and nodded my head, and walking to the elevator, to meet my 1/3.

Chapter 1

"Here it is, room 456." Mrs. Andrews said. (my boyfriends mom). I was at Sheffield College, helping my boyfriend move into his dorm room. Mrs. Andrews slid in the key, and we stepped foot into the room. "Wonderful." She said, cheerfully. Something about the room, just felt so familiar especially the smell. The whole room just seemed so familiar, then it hit me. I quickly showered and did my hair and makeup, and made my way over to Dan's dorm room. I slid the key in and when they light turned green I barged in. "Dan!" I shook him. He rolled over, and stared at me, "Oh yeah, doctor appt." He said, jumping out of his bed. In less than 5 minutes we were on our way to the office. *flash back ends*  I looked around the room for any trace of Dan, and there it was, sitting on the mini fridge, a dry erase board that had printed PROPERTY OF DAN PETERSON. I couldn't believe my eyes. Josh's brother came up next with some clothes, " Who is Dan Peterson?"  he asked "Must be my room mate." Josh said. I stood there is shock. Dan Peterson the boy I was in love with 2 years ago, the one who I screwed over for Josh. This can't be happening to me. "Babe whats wrong, looks like you have been hit by a bus." Josh said, he motioned my hand to follow him to get more of his stuff. Wouldn't you know who I saw but nothing more than my sophomore sweet heart.
