Have you ever heard of the show Spongebob Squarepants? The one
about the joyful, yellow sponge who lives in a fictitious town
called Bikini Bottom which is under the sea? Well, I'm just
going to assume you have and get on with it. Even if you have
seen it, you probably don't know the real story. So, here it
is. The real story of Spongebob. Spongebob's mom and dad were
actually brother and sister, so when Spongebob was born, he had
various diseases such as Schizophrenia, Bipolar Disorder and
Mental Retardation. The Bipolar Disease made him have very
aggressive mood swings. All of the kids at school knew about his
diseases and made fun of him for it. He never had any friends
either, which led to him being depressed. One night, while he was
doing homework, he had an angry outburst, which resulted in him
killing his older sister. He was tried, but let off on the count
of mental illness and issued to an asylum. While he was there,
his Schizophrenia started taking over his life. He made-up a town
called Bikini Bottom and all of the people in it. Here is a list
of Spongebob's made-up characters and what they represent in
his real life:
Patrick Star- Was made to represent his longing for a real
friend. He was also made because he always wanted a friend was
dumber than him to help him feel better about his own
Retardation.
Squidward Tentacles- Was made to represent the bullies that made
fun of him. The love Songebob has for Squidward represents all of
the times he tried to be friends with the bullies, even though
they scolded him for it.
Mr. Krabs- Was made to represent all of the times that bullies
pretended to be his friend and taking advantage of his
stupidity.
Gary- Was made to represent his parents, that had to live and put
up with him.
Sandy- Was made to represent his love for the most popular girl
in school and his dream that she loved him back.
Plankton- Was made to represent his big sister, who was always
nagging and making fun of him. All things that led to her
death.
So there you have it. The real story of Spongebob.
