Sometimes you turn the world
upside down.
See the fear in its eyes
shake the money from its pockets
let it fall like rain,
watch the blood rush
to its face.
Sometimes its feet are on the ground.
Roots curl around ancles
see the earth
stand
still.
Sometimes
the sky
shatters from a single clap of thunder
sometimes the waves split the shore,
hit it too hard
watch it crumbling.
Some days
the mountian peaks don't look so far away
others you're stuck in this town.
Sometimes you turn the world upside down.
