I am the ocean, I am the sea. There is a world inside of me.
I'm Justine. I'm 15, I'm Irish, and I'm the most boring person you'll ever know.
And I also cannot be arsed to rewrite all of this.

EvilAngel's Favorite Quotes

'search and create. create and destroy.'
yes, creation is difficult. heart wrenching and head splitting, bloodletting and agonizing, it's all true. but the feeling you get when you put your back, neck, and soul into something and it comes out better than you could have ever hoped or imagined it would... that feeling is immense, and it is only topped when someone who truly understands is blown away by your creation and says to you, 'wow. you made this?' and you reply, 'no. it made me.'
once you experience this super nova, you will forever be changed, and you will forever chase your next fix. and that chase eventually
destroys (defines) us all.
dear creators, my heart goes out to you.

That’s what being shy feels like. Like my skin is too thin, the light too bright. Like the best place I could possibly be is in a tunnel far under the cool, dark earth. Someone asks me a question and I stare at them, empty-faced, my brain jammed up with how hard I’m trying to find something interesting to say. And in the end, all I can do is nod or shrug, because the light of their eyes looking at me, waiting for me, is just too much to take. And then it’s over and there’s one more person in the world who thinks I’m a complete and total waste of space. The worst thing is the stupid hopefulness. Every new party, every new bunch of people, and I start thinking that maybe this is my chance. That I’m going to be normal this time. A new leaf. A fresh start. But then I find myself at the party, thinking, Oh, yeah. This again. So I stand on the edge of things, crossing my fingers, praying nobody will try to look me in the eye. And the good thing is, they usually don’t.

When you have a bad day, a really bad day,

try and treat the world better than it treated you.                               -     Patrick Stump

i remember once upon a time when top quotes had like 1000+ faves,
when a lot of people got a turn at the top,
when there was more than just the same 5 people's quotes that you see all the time.

The problem with school isn't the students or anything like that.

The problem with school is that they expect everyone to excel in everything. That's just stupid. People are amazing at certain things and horrible at other ones.

Honestly, it's like:
"Oh, you're not good in math? Well, who cares about how good you are in art! You need to be amazing at math! Don't you realize how stupid you are? Who cares that you can play 24 instruments? You aren't good at this one thing, therefore, you're stupid! You won't get far in life!"

It can even be the other way around!
You could be the top of your class in math, but (oh no!) you're just barely passing in History! Obviously you are a very unintelligent creature and need to be punished harshly for this horrific crime!

No. You don't need to know everything. Stop stressing people out who are already having a really hard f.ucking time just getting through life.
omg im so done with this website. people spout off opinions thinking they're so smart when they really haven't got a clue what they're saying and then they don't want to deal with the consequences of posting your thoughts on the internet (ill admit im guilty of this too) so many of you are so, so immature its not even funny theres a reason this website has an age limit. and NOW?! now you guys are complaining about steve hiding depression/suicide/self harm quotes when that is one of the best things he could have done for this website. this isnt your diary. if you're actually suffering from those problems you need to be getting REAL help, not looking for attention on the internet. that was never the point of this website and people abusing this website for things like that are ruining it. don't tell me this is the only way you can get help. people were able to get help for these problems before the internet existed, so why can't you now? and, if you're really THAT against getting help in the real world you are so much better off on tumblr where there are countless blogs dedicated to helping with these exact issues. stop complaining on a quote website. you have no reason to be upset over these quotes being blocked. im so done. my computer is broken anyway so i cant make quotes and respond to comments easily but this is just the cherry on top i may take a break for a bit.

I was really disappointed when I turned 16 and my grandmother didn't tell me I was the crown princess of Genovia. And I'm not even a girl.

{   what a catch   }

"not everyone is confident!
for some people, speaking up in front of classmates or friends can be really uncomfortable. there's nothing wrong with being shy. If you know someone like that, encourage them and ask them what they think. and give them time to answer, they need your support. and if you're shy, know you're not the only one! the world needs all kinds of people including shy people."

"it's easy to write people off as mean, no-good, or too nerdy.
but people can and do change. just remember, there's good and bad in all of us
and it's up to us to decide what we're going to be."

“no matter who you are, guy or girl, don’t settle for someone who treats you badly.
someone may be cute, but if that someone hurts you in any way or makes you feel badly about yourself, it’s time to get help and move on. you deserve the best. don’t you settle for less!”

“starving yourself and exercising till you drop is not a smart way to lose weight.
if you think you need to lose weight, talk to someone who really knows, like a doctor; it could save your life. and please remember, real beauty really does come from inside.”

now my question is how is useful, real life advice like this coming from a children's cartoon that aired 15-20 years ago and on tv now we're getting stuff like "i could just eat you up--well if i ate"? what happened? i know all of you hear stuff like this all the time but that's how much of a difference there is in kid's television within a short decade or two. more and more of our shows are promoting bad morals and they need to get their s.h.i.t together and turn themselves back around!
