i wrote these things when i was 14 and lonely, they are weird and cringy but i am glad they are preserved here. this is my time capsule. (04/11/20 check-in).
ahhh thank you! im always trying to get my look together so it's nice to hear
im sure u have a great aesthetic too man unfortunately u dont link but i believe
This is weird because I'm pretty sure I just followed a bunch of people from witty on tumblr at one point and then unfollowed most of them after awhile so I've lost track of who's who but I actually really like your blog and especially your selfies so hi!
So I apologize if this sounds weird (haha okok there's no 'if' - it's definitely gonna sound weird), but you have basically perfect lips. They're nice and full. Actually, all of your facial features are quite pretty. I don't think your selfies are bad at all; on the contrary, they're lovely.
(And now that I've been sufficiently creepy, I'mma go.)
So it wasn't letting me reply but yeah PSATs were apparently rough, I didn't take it but like an entire physics class wasn't there because they all were taking it like woah. But god that must've been a depressing assembly. They don't really talk about that stuff with us but we have really supportive teachers who all care about us and treat us like were their own kids (with classes as small as 6 kids when you get into the higher level classes that's not hard to do, especially because most of us have had the same teacher repeatedly). My maths teacher is super grest and basically saved me from destroying my chances at going anywhere In life and he's pretty great, and the councilor here is super friendly. Its just so weird growing up in a generation where everything you've been taught seems to change at every moment, ya feel?
Yeah, I heard they were just really long? And apparently there was a math question in the reading which sums up the US edu. system pretty well. And it was, but I just got so mad because like one of the presenters talked about her own struggle with depression and her own attempt and then the other guy and his son and people fell asleep and people were laughing at some points and just people were being overall disrespectful like stop feigning ignorance about these things if you only sit and shut your ears every damn time someone tries to educate you. But they also brought a dog!!! so. And yeah, definitely. It's definitely getting harder but it's nice that people are starting to catch on.
There was a math question in the reading???? What even?! I like math (going to college tomorrow to sit at two lectures f*** yeah!) but that's awful.
Speaking of depression (though nothing quite that terrible really, woah people are jack.sses) today we were talking (kind of more like listening) in stats about Zoloft and my teacher listed like two side affects and I was sitting there thinking about how people don't like, get how screwed up anti depressants (particularly that one) are
But like??? Those are separate things why are they suddenly together um. Anti-depressants actually do so much harm but I guess there aren't any better options. Actually my eighth grade science teacher told us that one year this one boy had severe SAD and he had this huge lamp that he would have to sit with to get his sunlight/vitamin D or whatever
I would be scared if I saw them together like no you can't put this here this is wrong unacceptable.
They're really screwy they mess with like your hormones and they can cause hallucinations and some are addictive and they can make you more depressed like what even are you doing medicine?
There was a girl in my science who had SAD but it wasn't really bad but she had the lamp thing I think.
Oh god I am so unexcited to take them next year but I mean the different levels of finalists get a certain amount off their college tuition? Like my sister was a semi-finalist for NJ which is pretty good but she only got like $2,000 off her tuition per year
They're so scary oh my god but like sometimes they're necessary like last year my friend told me she stopped taking her bc it made her a better actor and I was like ".. no that not how it works,,, take ur prescribed meds please"
Man SAD must suck so much like you can't control your brain chemistry but you can control the weather even less
My friend took it and she's clever an she was like three points away from qualifying she was so angry oh my gosh.
Yeah not taking medicine can be really bad sometimes, especially antidepressants and the like. I was taking them a few years ago and I started having the really bad side affects and I wasn't sleeping/sleeping too much and I would wake up in the middle of the night hallucinating it was really terrible.
Oh wow, that's really unfortunate. Fun parallel story: my dad did an Ironman (triathlon) in the end of September and he wanted to get below 12 hrs. He got 12 hours and 1 minute
Oh geez I'm so sorry, that's really horrible. Although I heard that since the mapping of the human genome like they should be getting better medications around soon??? like it's been a decade now but that should help get better stuff on the market
Oh my gosh I would've been so conflicted in how I felt. Still that's really incredible woah.
Medicine is weird. Were still progressing slowly into everything but it's always cool when they discover new stuff like woah, you know? I love learning the abstract things they know.
Yeah but now he wants to do another one and jesus you don't even know how expensive these things are
I was really excited about the first time that AIDS was fully eliminated from a cell. That was a great one
idk long story short it doesnt even turn on
I'm glad :-) obviously we don't have homecoming/whatsoever here but it always seems like fun on movies!! lmao
im sure u have a great aesthetic too man unfortunately u dont link but i believe

oh man same. i'm either churning sht out or i'm like nah
the muse is a fickle thing
i highly anticipate it
