So today I went to visit my grandma at work after school. On the way home I asked her to tell me a story, and this is what she told me...
                There once was a beautiful young girl, all the boys wanted to date her and she was super popular. On her nineteenth birthday this guy walked up to her and asked her if he could take her out to dinner that night. She told him she would like that. That night they really connected. He told her that he’s liked her for a long time but never had the guts to ask her out. To his surprise she said she felt the same way about him. Later that night when he walked her to the door he asked her if he could take her out on another date the next night. She of course said yes. The next night they met on Main Street and started walking down the street. When they arrived at the entrance of the finest jewelry store in town he opened the door and followed her in. He told her she could pick out any ring she wanted. Price didn’t mean anything. She found the most beautiful diamond and told him she loved it. After he paid for the ring he followed her outside onto the street curb. & right there he proposed to her. 11 months later they became husband and wife. One year later they had their first daughter. Three years after that they had another daughter. Like every couple, they fought. But the one difference about them was he always put her first. On the days he knew she had to work he would make her dinner and bring it to her along with a single white rose and a single red rose.
I then asked my grandma how she came up with such a beautiful story so fast. She told me that she didn’t have to make it up. & that was the story of her and my papa. I now know that there are guys that will do anything to make their girl happy, no matter the pain or cost.
