Don't say it's nothing serious. If it's making you unhappy at all then it's serious enough. Whatever it is, your feelings are valid. I really hope things work out :)
it's one of those deals where it's going to work out, i just hate having to work through it. and it's only semi-serious because im feeling pretty strong right now.

Yeah I checked. But here's the thing, a lot of sad people that I know of are embarrassed of how they come off to people. Don't make people feel bad about how they feel. I realize you probably never meant for your quote to make people feel bad/guilty/embarrassed for their feelings, but that's the way it appears
I never make people feel bad..I am simply saying people are responsible for their own behavior....it is not a choice to be depressed, but it is a choice to romanticize it....and people who do and post about it online are clearly not embarrassed as you say, because if they were, they would find safer ways to deal with it...like I said, just because you feel bad does not make it okay for you to intentionally trigger other naive people and make it seem cool to be sad or in pain..it is not...and any person that is a decent human being would recognize it is wrong to promote sadness and pain like a trend....those people choose to make jokes out of serious issues, so they should feel embarrassed
