I used to cry at night..
Thinking that I'll die someday. If it'll be painful, or if I'll die in my sleep.
Thinking that one day, the one who understands me the most will die before I graduate high school.
Thinking of all the kids that suffer, and I'm living a perfect life and still being a brat about not getting what I want.
Thinking that I wasn't wanted, that I wasn't good enough for anyone.
Thinking that I wasn't beautiful like other girls.
Thinking I shouldn't belong here.

Throught these nights, I learned..
To not take my parents for granted.
That I am beautiful; everyone is.
That everyone dies at some point, because their time if up, and their ready to move on.
I learned all this; and I've stopped crying at night.

My first grade teacher was deaf.
She wore hearing aids, but they didn't work very well for her. She always had to read our lips if she didn't understand something we said.
 She never got frustrated. She was patient. She was doing something she loved even though she was
deaf.
This teacher, made me realize something...
no matter what your dream is, no matter if your blind, disabled, deaf, or have something that you think causes you from not reaching your dream..

Your wrong.
She inspires me. She made me see things differently. I realized so many things from her.

& yet, I'm so grateful to know that she never gave up on her dream.
