and After
Chapter 9 part one.
I woke up on the sofa where I was
last night; still in Skyler's arms. I picked my head up and
looked around. "Skyler.." I said, quietly. I shook him
and he woke up. "Hm?" He asked, looking down at me with
tired eyes. "Wheres Auden?" I said, shyly. He looked
around, searching for Auden. Then he realized he was still
holding on to me. "Oh, sorry." he said turning pink and
removing his arms for me. I blushed. "Its okay." I said
quietly. Inside me fireworks were going off in my chest. Damnit,
no I couldn't be falling for Skyler. He got up and looked
around the house. "I don't see her." He said,
peering our of the laundry room. I shrugged, thinking I
didn't need to worry. When I did.
Auden's P.O.V:
I looked down at the concrete below me and wrapped my coat around
me tighter. I shivered. "I can't just let daren go, and
not know where he is." I mumbled to myself as I walked down
an alleyway. "Sir." I called out, my teeth chattering.
He turned around. "Hello, ma'am." He said smirking
and coming towards me. "Nevermind." I said, backing off
and running down the sidewalk to a little coffee shop down the
road from the alley. I opened the door to see a man, around my
age, making coffee. "Excuse me sir." He turned around;
I gasped. Could it be?
Skyler's P.O.V
I couldn't help but hold Carter all day long. I longed for
her touch, for her giggle, for her smile. I was falling for this
girl; hard. When I met her, she was different. But she changed;
in a good way. "Do you think Auden and Daren are ok?"
She asked me, while she was sitting in my lap, her head on my
chest. I stroked her hair, I knew she liked when I did that.
"I hope so." I whispered against her hair by my face.
She looked up at me and I looked down at her. "I'm
scared." She whispered she me. I smiled to myself. Carter,
scared. I didn't know that was humanly possible for her. She
looked up at me, confused. "What?" She said and pouted.
I shrugged, "Nothing Carter, Nothing at all." I smirked
and she put her head back on my chest, soon I believe she fell
asleep again; and so did I.

Chapter 5 part two.
Skylar's P.O.V:
I rolled over on my right side, and my arm swung over my body and hit something; someone. I flung my eyes open quickly to see what I hit with my arm. It was Tre. I was in his room, in his bed. I looked around the room, the walls, a light green wall on either side of me, and a dark green wall opposite of them. I turned to look at Tre whose eyes were open, gazing at me. "Hello." I said, smiling and sitting cross-legged under the covers. He smiled a little and rubbing his cheek. "You slapped me.." He said, smirking. I nodded. "I'm sorry, I didn't mean too." I said looking down at the white and green sheets on his bed. "Skylar.. " He started to say. I looked up at him. "Hm?" I said, glancing at him, and his shirtless chest. "You know you can ask me, anything about this living forever thing; right?' I nodded and smiled. "I know Tre. Thanks, I honestly wouldn't feel comfortable asking Christian these questions. He'd laugh at me..." I said, while laying down, facing Tre. I stared at him, and he stared at me. God, he was so perfect. He had an amazing body for a 17 year old, he had black hair that fell perfectly, and was just slightly covering his eyes, and piercing green eyes, like a cat. We looked at each other for a long time, until he started to lean in. My heart literally skipped a beat, and I lurched forward; wanting so badly to just kiss him. Then it happened, our lips met each other, and we started kissing; for what seemed like hours, but only a few minutes.
Tre's P.O.V
Skylar finally pulled away after a few minutes, I laid there smiling at her. "What?" She asked confused. 'You honestly don't know how long I've been waiting for that Skylar." I said, wrapping my arms around her waist. She smiled. "So, about the living forever thing... how does it-- um happen?" She asked me. I looked at her, and said "Well, every other person gets it. So , your dad didn't have the genetics, HIS dad did, and when your mom had you, you were the one to get it. But your dad still; he- he still lived for forever. We can't figure out why--." I said slowly. "What about you and Christian, you both have it but your only a year apart." She asked. "Yea, things went wrong when I was in my moms stomach..thats why I look different from my family.. "I replied akwardly. She stared at me for a while before saying something else. "What are you supposed to look like ,?" She asked. I smiled. "Brown hair, blue eyes. Yup; I looked like that for a while, but when I was reborn after 100 years.. I got black hair and green eyes. It normally doesn't happen that way. Its rare for that to happen." I said, smiling at her. "I don't go for brown hair and blue eyes anyway." She said, kissing me again. I couldn't help but smile when she kissed me. She was finally mine.
