Hello again, everyone :)
Well, I gotta say, I'm glad to be back. Summer is over and I start school on Wednesday. I'm gunna be a sophomore in high school... and hopefully this'll be the year I change-- the year I wont be afraid to be myself.
So right now, I'd like to take my time to tell you what happened over my little break. So, as some of you may have known, my mother signed me up for a four hour acting class every day for three weeks. Turned out, that class was awesome. The people there are now probably the greatest friends I have ever had. I went from lil' ol' introverted me, to the social butterfly. I've gained so much confidence and love from this experience... and I gained a guy. Yes, there's a guy. He's not my boyfriend, but he acts like it. His name is Dylan and we kissed. I have never kissed anyone before. This is one of the reasons for my new found confidence. He's a great guy and let me tell ya, I think I'm really falling for him.
Also, I don't look the same. To be honest, I think I look good, I think I look pretty, I think I can go out in the world not worrying about who's going to judge me about my looks... because what I used to look like was just a little girl. Now you see a teenager-- one who is herself.
To wrap it all up, I had a life-changing summer. A great one too. I know my little story may not mean anything to you, but I had to say it. I just want to let you know, my time away wasn't wasted, it was lived.
