To Write Love On Her Arms

2006.
Jamie wrote a story about
19-year-old Renee Yohe who struggled with addiction,
depression, self-injury and attempted suicide.. Her story was
written February 2006. Yohe's life five days before she
entered treatment. Unable to get Renee checked into treatment
center in the meantime, friends offered moral
support.
An American non-profit
organization which aims to present hope for people who struggle
with addiction, depression, self-injury, and thoughts of
suicide.
A large portion of the work is
dedicated to bridging the gap between traditional treatment and
lives of people who need help. Such as music festivals, music
tours, social networking sites, and schools and
universities.
TWLOHA has risen to prominence
through endorsements of celebrities such as the bands Skillets,
Boys Like Girls, OneRepublic, Paramore, Mayday Parade, A Day To
Remember, Between The Trees, Fireflight, The Almost, and many
more.
September 10-17 has been known as
TWLOHA week. Many write "Love" on their arms during
that time.
