LONG AND UGLY, BUT WORTH IT. I had a sleepover with this guy the other day. We were never really that close. But we got into talking about deep stuff. I found out things I never would have guessed about him. He has been through a lottt. his uncle, more like his father was taken away by border control, and his mom gets abused by his step dad. they are too broke to leave him. I cut myself and when he found out, he cried for me. He told me how he got out of cutting himself, and he told me his suicide attempt story. This was the best night of my life because he is my new inspiration. I love him. I am the only person to know his true story. I feel so special. We are best friends now. Just thought I would share my story with you. Just remember, no matter how bad you have it, someone else always has it worse.

Long and Ugly, but I don't care. It was worth it.

Today in class we were taking standardized tests. The state ones. My teacher told us that we had to fill out the bubbles correctly, and that we must stay silent starting now. About an hour passed and i was the last to hand in my test. My teacher called me to her desk, and asked me, what did you do to this question? I told her the truth: The question asked me for my race. I'm not sure why. It's not like it matters. I wrote human in place of all the options. And checked that box. We are all part of the human race, no matter what the color of our skin may be.
