So do you know vimscript or do you use Python or something?

vim is just my text editor. To build the site I used the following languages and technologies: Centos, PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jquery, cometchat, bootstrap, iTerm, ssh, sftp, memcached, amazon s3 and rds, mysql, and probably a lot of others that I've forgotten. I started Witty Profiles in 2003.

I got a degree in computer science but I just enjoy it and learned a lot on my own.

Just a way to secure and keep all of the login information. But is it very vulnerable to cross site scripting
