Some girls may be hypocritical about anorexic girls (I have never heard an overweight girl be hypocritical about someone underweight, anorexic, etc.), but the majority of society is hypocritical about curvy and overweight girls. Girls say they love their curves because they need self confidence. everyone else is calling them fat and disgusting. I would not personally criticize someone like you, but DONT criticize overweight girls, because you have no idea what it's like being in their shoes.

I really do understand where you're gettin with this, but it is not true & it's hurtful! I don't feel pretty being big at all! I hate how all my friends can shimmy into little bikinis when we go swimming and i make up excuses so I don't get in the water and I cover up with a towel. & I get called fat all the time ! Fat is worse than anorexic trust me! Boys only like the skinny girls nowadays! Just the way this quote is written is offensive.

I think that a lot of overweight girls feel very jealous of you naturally skinny girls because you can eat whatever you want and not gain a single pound. In the world and media we are living in today, skinny is the generic idea of "beauty".
Perhaps the bigger girls say that you are not beautiful and they are is because they want to feel better about themselves. While bringing you down is not the right way to bring them up, it might make them love themselves a bit more.
Boys in our society make fun of the overweight girls and fall in love with the slim ones. That's just the way it is.
So maybe before you say something like "Ughh, I'm so fat. I gained one pound this month," when you're really no where near fat, think about who is around you and what their body type is.
Yes, you are beautiful and I envy you for your naturally skinny body. I have to work really hard at being somewhat-slim.
Some of us aren't as lucky as you<3
