Chapter 9

  I walked into school the next morning recieving glares from people as i walked down the coridoor.
How did they know? Was it any of their buisness
Sorry..i sighed to myself as i stuffed my books into my locker,im pretty annoyed and upset now,as my brother decided to keep him away from me. I assume you know who i mean.
How can i stay away from someone i love?
I glanced around me,people were still giving me that cold death glare.
`Excuse me` Someone walked up to my locker,hiding behind the door.
I moved the door swiftly to see who it was and i frowned when i saw the boy,i never talken to him before so why is he starting now? and to make matters worse i think ive seen him hang around with Calvin.
`Yes` i replied sharply,i was going to be late for my first class.
`Uh` the boy robbed his neck,i think he was uncomfortable,ok this is weird `Calvin wanted me to give you this` he said hesitantly handing me a small piece of paper.
I looked at it,studying it for a moment before taking it from him,giving him a smile to say thank you and off he trotted.
Well that was awkward.
I kept the folded piece of paper in the palm of my hand,looking at it i debated whether to look at it or not,i didnt want it to be another dissapointment and plus ive been warned to stay away from Calvin and if Leon finds out he go nuts...again.
Like i always do in life though,i took the risk and unfolded the paper. In short black neat writing was a small message.
Im sorry i never told you.
Please forgive me?

Oh how i hate my life,ive got more problems now.

Lunch
The lessons dragged by like usaul,but i was preoccupied anyway,thinking about his note,wondering what i should do.
Liberty and Sasha came and joined me on the table,Sasha was gossiping about the latest goings on and Liberty was just going with it,like we usaully do cause we can never make sense of Sasha when shes goes on.
`You know,i think Taylor Brown likes me` Sasha blurted out
I raised my eyebrow,this is all i need.
`You ok Jade` Liberty cut off Sasha,she probaly had enough of her going on.
I just nodded,it was too much effort to talk at the moment for me `Ill think i go and get a hot chocolate` I said making my excuses,to get away from Sasha and the questioning bit.
I sighed as i pressed my finger against the Hot chocolate button,waiting for it to smoothly flow out into the plastic cup.
`Get my note` someone said besides me butting in line before
`Excuse me,i didnt say you co-` I shutted up once i realised who it was `Calvin` i said quietly
He smiled at me slightly `So did you get my note` he asked once again.
I looked up at the hot chocolate,it was taking its time,it couldnt happen at a more better movement and their was nobody after me in line,so i couldnt make any excuses to get away from `Yeah` i said.
`I am sorry Jay` he said softly,his voice!Ahh
`Cal` i looked up at him cutting him off `Look` i started,a lump in my throat,i didnt want to do this `I cant hangout with you anymore`
He looked at me as if i just told him a secret `What`
`My brother,hes banned me from seeing you. And if he finds out he will go nuts at you,so i cant,i cant forgive you or hangout with you anymore`
He frowned sadly,glancing down at his cup in his hands awkwardly `Well you know where i am`
I frowned too then `What do you mean`
`You havent seen it,look on the back` he said,walking away after that moment.
I glanced after him wondering what he meant before getting the note out of my pocket and looking at it,turning it over and on the other side was his phone number.
I have to stay away,but my heart says no.

Chapter 8

    What the hell was you thinking` my brother yelled at me as we walked back into our house from the party.
`I didnt know Leon` I defended myself,that was my excuse i really didnt know he was one of them
`Do you realise how many problems this can cause` he looked at me,his eyes were full of dissapointment `Do you realise how dissapointed dad would be if he was here right now`
I looked down,guilty. I guess i was so head over heels for this guy that i didnt care if he was a enemy of mine or not.
This is my own fault.
How selfish i was.
`Your always creating trouble or starting it,havent you realised how many headaches and stress you gave dad when he was alive cause you kept getting into trouble and now even when hes not here your still doing it,i thought you grew up and learnt from your mistakes`
`Why do you always have to bring dad into this,dad wanted what was best for me Lee,he would`ve of wanted me to be in love with a guy i do actually love,not with somebody who i dont love but im being forced to be with cause hes on the same team as us`
`Before dad died he told me to look after you,make sure you always made the right decisions and not have any regrets. And now this happens and it feels like ive already let him down`
`I dont need to be looked after anymore,im not your baby sister anymore i can make my own decisions` i cried,feeling the warm sensation of tears roll down my cheeks.
`You dont understand Jade,your still my baby sister,my little kid sister. I didnt want to go through the pain of loosing someone close again,it hurts so much and the grieth we had to go through both put strain on our lives and our lives have just got back to normal. I dont wanna ever see you hurt or in pain` he sighed running a hand `Im going to bed`
`But why` i shrugged `Dad never told us to go to bed on a arguement`
Leon was heading up the stairs when he turned back around and faced her `Dad isnt here anymore remember. I need to rest and make a decision on what to do with this problem,im the man of the house,i have to take charge now hes gone` he smiled slightly before running up the stairs.
Thats the last i saw of him that night,i decided to walk outside onto our front lawn and gaze up at the stars. When me and Leon was a little younger after dad died he would bring me out onto the lawn and we would lay their for hours,he would always point to one star and say that was dad looking down at us. That was the only times i felt close to him,the only time i could tell what he was feeling and thinking. But now that hardly happens,things change so quick,people grow up so fast,time goes by within a click of your fingers. If only their was a rewind button i would rewind back to the past and change everything. But i cant,thats impossible,because life is impossible.
Since that awful day that changed our lives i always thought that was meant to happen,that our lives was meant to be misery and pain and that their would never be a happy moment ever again.
But when Calvin came into my life all that dissappeared,he made me full special,warm and wanted but then i totally forget about the rules and now look where i am.
This time tomorrow ill see him,but i wont be able to touch or speak to him cause im being forced to stay away from him cause hes not good enough for me,since hes a Eagle.
I hate my life at this minute
Cause i cant have what i want.
Call me a spoilt brat but i just want things back to normal like how they used to be.
But thats me.
Nothing is ever normal in my world

Chapter 7



 Will he be their? I wonder who he will be with? Whats he going to wear thoughts swamped my mind as me and my girls were at my house preparing for the party.
`Jade,Jade` Sasha shouted snapping me out of my thoughts `For godsake we havent got any time to be daydreaming`
I sighed quietly,Sasha was quite a upfront snappy girl,who liked perfection.
The party started at seven but we was getting ready about three hours before as we are girls and it takes time for us to become beautiful goddesses.The amount of hairspray that will fill the room,the amount of make up that will be used and not forgetting how many bottles of tan Sasha had used.
Soon later it was 6:15pm we had to leave soon though and we all was pretty much ready Sasha was making herself extra pretty (s_utty) in the mirror so whilst she hogged that mirror i went into the batheroom to look at myself their.
I stood their starring into my own reflection,i wonder if he will like what he sees,what if he doesnt,what if he doesnt like what he sees.
`Jade` Someone banged on the door,i opened it to find Sasha their a hand on her hip with a `For godsake we havent got all day` look on her face.
I walked out as Sasha grabbed her clutch `Come on lets go` she grinned,ready to get this party started.
I looked into the mirror once more,my hair was neatly curled,my dress i brought when i went shopping with Liberty fit to perfection and my make up,well it wasnt too much nor was it too little. It was right.
i grinned flattering my dress down slightly as i slowy made my way down the stairs making sure not to trip over myself in my heels.
We eventually got their ten minutes late due to traffic but when we did enter the party it seemed like all eyes was on us,acourse Sasha was lapping it up trying to get every guys attention she could.
Did i mention shes a bit of a player?
Yeah,ill leave it their i think you know what happens.
When i looked back again i found Sasha was chatting up the drunk boys in the corner and Liberty was with her boyfriend Phane on the couch giggling which left me and Sophie.
`Fancy a drink` i said,quite parched.
`Yeah` she grinned,holding my hand so we wouldnt get lost in the crowd of people.
After much pushing,shoving and forcing our way through  the crowds we eventually got to the kitchen,the music was loud you would think it was comiing from in the kitchen.
I looked around the kitchen and it was the same picture,people grinding over each other,making out.
Typical.
I poured myself and Sophie a drink,once giving it to her when i done
`I think im going to hang out with some people` Sophie said as she got her drink,a evil smirk on her face as she looked in a different direction the entire time she was talking to me.
So that left me alone,great. What am i meant to do now,oh yeah look for Calvin. Where is he i thought as i looked around.
`You look lost`
A voice perked up behind me,i turned to see it was Calvin with his usaul cheeky grin holding a cup.
I chuckled at him
I felt his eyes looking me up and down and that did make me feel a bit uncomfortable.
`You look..` he paused looking he was trying to find a suitable word `stunning`
I chuckled once again,his words blowing me away `Thank You` i grinned,i looked like a idiot grinning like this.
After that we got chatting,chatting about random stuff when i felt him getting closer to me
`I cant let a girl like you slip away` he said quietly as he moved his body closer to mine,our foreheads inches apart.
I looked up from his lips to his dazzling eyes `Who said ill be going anywhere` i joked
`You know what i mean` he paused leaning his lips right in putting them against my ear `I dont want nobody else to have you` he whispered slowly bringing his lips back down to my lips,he slowly leaned in and pressed his soft plumped against mine,locking them perfectly together.
We stayed like that for a few seconds but i didnt want to move away,it was so perfect,so magical.
I pulled away gasping for air grinning like a idiot once again at him not beileving what just happened.
He grinned at me too keeping close to me `I have to go to the toilet,dont go anywhere` he winked walking off.
I sqealed a little once he left the room not being able to contain myself anymore.
Omdz,did he just kiss me.I want it to happen again. Why did it have to stop.
`Jade` A voice from behind me interrupted my thoughts.
I turnt round leaning on the counter to see my brother Leon standing their angry `What` i said annoyed,hoping he would get the message.
`What the hell do you think your doing` he whispered coldly too me.
`I was just talking to him` I didnt want him to know about the kiss,hes gets awfully protective nowadays.
`Im not that stupid,.i saw you kiss`
I gasped slightly `Please..` he cut me off
`Are you stupid,i swear hes a eagle` he shouted `Hes one of them Jay,ive seen down at the dirt tracks`
I blinked,not knowing what to say.
`He isnt one of them` i shouted,defending him
`How do you know` Leon barked back at me
`Because..` i wanted him not to be one of them,but my gut instinct was telling me he was.
`Didnt you bother to find out before you got this serious` he scolded me.
Calvin walked back into the room `Whats going on` he asked oblivious.
Leon turned around on his heel glaring at Calvin `Do you do motorcross` he began his enquiring
Oh great.
Calvin glanced at me seeing how scared i was `Yeah` he nodded slowly
Leon kept up the glaring,grabbing Calvin by the wrist and pulling his jumper up,their was no tattoo their,no ink or art it was just bare.
I stood besides my brother looking down at his wrist,all you could see was a faint blue line which was his vein.
Leon glared at me giving me the look `I told you so`. He forcefully turnt Calvin round forcing his shirt down revealling the art of a eagle on his shoulder.
My eyes began to water,making them heavy as my throat started to tighten up and hurt
`Your a eagle` Leon asked `Do you have any idea what we are`
Calvin looked between us innocently shaking his head.
`Were hawks,our dad was the founders son of the hawks` he explained
Calvin had the look of sheer horror on his face,he knew the consequences aswell as i did.
`You tried it on with my sister you dirty piece of filth` Leon snarled,grabbing him by the neck leading him through the crowds of people before opening the door and shoving him out onto the front lawn `Stay away from my sister` he bellowed
I stood by him,rubbing my arm not knowing what to do or say as Leon burst back indoors.
Calvin looked up at me,i know he wanted me to help him and console him but i couldnt.
Cause he was a eagle
and im a hawk.

    Chapter 5 
  Jade sat on the front steps as she waited for Libby.
She doodled on her phone making out she was busy whilst she waited.
When a voice spoke up behind her.
`What you doing out here alone`
Calvin.
He jogged down the steps and sat next to her
I looked to him smiling slightly `Waiting for my friend` I explained
`Oh cool` he nodded `Still up for the party on Saturday` he asked
I nodded excitedly
He grinned,pleased i was coming.
Oh that smile,if only i could express to him how much i loved it.
`Hey Cal` one of his mates standing near by shouted
Calvin took his eyes off me and looked at his mate
`Sup`
`We have to go,c`mon` he urged him
Calvin sighed looking back at me `Were going to to the dirt track` he explained
`Oh` i said nodding
`Have fun,with your mate` he said quickly getting up and rushing off with his mates.
i watched him go sadly.
Why couldnt i spend more time with him?
Why is our time together always cut off?
The only time we spent together for a long time was that night..
I smiled as i thought about it all over again,every little detail

Calvins POV
I quickly caught up with Alex as we headed towards the tracks
`You looked pretty cosey up their with her` Alex glanced behind him at Jade again
`Yeah well you cant blame me for trying`
Alex sighed stopping where he was `Do you think your gonna get together`
Calvin shrugged looking up as he shoved his hands into his pockets `Shes pretty`
Alex looked like he stood thinking for a minute `You gonna tell her`
`Tell her what` he frowned looking up
`Your little secret` he whispered
Calvin sighed looking down
Alex watched him `Your gonna have to tell her sooner or later`
`I know that` he snapped `Do you really think i want too though. If i do it would just create a whole lot of new problems which i dont want right now`
`You cant keep pretending this is not real,it was your mistake and now its your responsibility. Your gonna have to deal with it and so will she when you tell her` he shouted walking off.
Calvin closed his eyes.

Jades POV
Her and Libby was at the small looking for something to wear for Saturday night as they both got invited.
They decided to go into a little boutique.
They browsed through the racks.
`Anything your looking for inparticular` Libby spoke browsing
`Hmm` i said as i gave up looking,nothing was too my taste `Nothing to s_utty or revealing,dont want Calvin thinking about a s_ut`
Libby looked up smirking `Awh,your trying to impress him` she looked around grabbing my wrist `Well this will deffiently impess him` she picked up a small dress,small but not s_utty. It had a black tank top with rectangular cut outs at the bottam with a small white skirt flanned out at the bottam.
I really liked this dress,but i know it wouldnt suit me
`That isnt me` i shaked my head
`Dont be silly. Try it on` she handed it to me.
So i did,i tried it on in the changing rooms.
I admired myself in the mirror before showing Libby.
It showed my slim figure,my skinny tanned legs and my ridicolousy large b_wbs.
Dont ask how i got them btw.
I walked out of the room showing Libby
`Oh my god` she jumped up sqealing `How will Calvin not be able to resist you`
I laughed.
`You look amazing`
I smiled looking down on myself,never thinking i would look this pretty.
After that we went and payed for our items. I brought some black bangs and a black hair clip for my hair along with black heels and a sparkly black clutch.
Libby brought a off shoulder coral above the knee skirt with gold and pink bangles.
I got home putting my new dress and accesories into my build in wardrobe.
I jumped back onto the bed grinning like a idiot.
I couldnt wait till Saturday

Chapter 4

Monday Morning.
I walked through the busy coridoors of school,pushing past people as they hurried their way to their first class.
Unfortenly,for me i had none of my friends in my first class,Science.
Wonder what were going to be blowing up today i thought as i took my usaul place in the middle,dumping  my bag down and watched as people walked in.
`Hurry up and sit down,got alot to get through today` The teacher shouted before walking over to me `Jade,can you hand these out to each person please` she asked as she setted up the lesson on the board.
I sighed.
Great.
I swear she picks on me cause i sit on my own,i think she thinks im a little goodie goodie.
Pssht.
I started handing out the books to each person in the class when a voice spoke up
`Need help`
I turned around and before my eyes i saw Calvin.
I broke out into a chuckle not being able to stop grinning.
He took the books and handed the rest of them out.
I sat back down as the lesson started.
Calvin sat next to me
`I didnt know you was in this class` i whispered warily
`I always have been,since i moved here a couple of years ago. You just never noticed me`
i chuckled
`You dont have to sit here you know,can sit with your mates` i suggested
`Nah` he shaked his head leaning on the table `All they ever do is try and score with girls`
`And you dont` i asked,raising my eyebrow.
`Nah,i like winning girls hearts the easy way` he smirked looking at me
I felt a gush of adrenaline inside of me when he looked at me,it was as if he was trying to tell me something.

The lesson whizzed by as i headed down the hallway for lunch hoping Liberty or Sasha was in the lunchall..
I felt a hand on my shoulder `Hey Jay`
I looked behind me to see him again.
`Listen,one of my mates is holding a party saturday night at his house. Fancy coming` he said,his face full of hope.
I couldnt let down that face
Besides,something could happen
Hint Hint
`Jade` he interrupted my thoughts
`Oh` i blushed slightly `Yeah sure,ill come` i grinned
`Good` he smirked at me `It starts at seven`
`Ill see you then,then` i grinned widely
`Will do` he did his trademark smirk and walked off.
I let out a huge breathe..
I wanted to scream
i wanted to die

I was sitting with the girls at the table not being able to stop thinking about Calvin.
`Er earth to Jade` Sasha shaked me
I looked up realising i was grinning like a idiot `Uh yeah`
`Whats with you today,your grinning like a idiot and you look like your daydreaming all the time` she explained
`Oh sorry` i rolled my eyes slightly thumbling with the coke bottle.
`Well,are you going to tell us` she pushed me,glancing at Liberty
I glanced up at Liberty `Its..just someone` i shrugged
`Oww someone` Sasha pestered me,she was like my mum when you told her one of your secrets `Do tell`
I rolled my eyes again.
its gonna have to come out sooner or later Jay,i told myself.
`Well,its a boy` i started
`Owww` she repeated herself `Is he cute,fit` she questioned me
`Sasha,just leave it` i shouted,i had enough i decided to leave `Ill speak to you on facebook` i said as i gathered my stuff.
i decided to head outside and sit on the benches alone,watching Calvin play football on the field with his mates.
He felt different from the other boys,who wanted to just get in your pants.He had a heart unlike some even though he is a bit of a bad boy.
But...But im not sure im his type.
Im not even sure im worth having a boyfriend or any friends at all.
After all the things ive done,to dissapoint dad and the rest of the family.
I told myself it aint going to work.
So theirs no point in getting my hopes up.

Chapter 3

The night me and Calvin spent at the garages was fun,
he told me about his family,
how he got into bikes
Yada yada.
I didnt get in till about 2am though,
so i had to be dead silent as i walked through the house,making sure i didnt wake my brother or mum and then get questioned where i have been.
I couldnt be arsed with that.
My eyes slowly opened,
a big grin plastered on my face as i remembered the night before.
He was so sweet,he offered to walk me home
and hes offered to give me lessons on my bike
not to mention he has one of the cutest smiles ever.
Though,i wouldnt really bet on me getting with him.
he is a bit of a..
bad boy.
uh oh.

I groggily walked downstairs
smelling a aroma coming from the kitchen
I walked in noticing my brother was making a mess as usaul
`What are you making` i asked,as i sat down on the stool
`Breakfast dummy` he rolled his eyes sighing `What you think`
I rolled my eyes too
`Where were you last night` he questioned me
Oh great
My eyes looked everywhere but his
i wasnt such a great liar.
`Um...i had to do some work on my bike and i caught behind on time`
He frowned at me.Not saying anything
I looked at him expecting something to happen
`Why didnt you just come to me instead`
`Because` i searched for an anwser in my head `I didnt want to cause more stress for you`
He sighed.
`You always used to come to me,for anything. But now,ever since-`
I cut him off
`Ever since dad died i dont` i sighed sadly looking down `Yeah,well am sorry ok.Im sorry it has to be this way/` i walked off back to my room.

Chapter: Meeting someone new


As i made my way into school
I remembered the times my dad used to walk me to it when i was younger,holding my hand and giving me the hints and tips for when i crossed the road.
Life wasnt worth living now he was dead,least that what i was thinking.
but i had my friends.
Sasha,a extremely gorgeous girl.Black hair,tanned skin,gorgeous smile and beautiful eyes.
A bit gobby and loud but hey i like that.
Then theirs Sophie,
Blonde,blue eyes,skinny and pale,she was the quieter one of all us.
They persuaded me life would get better.
But unfortenly it hasnt and i dont see how it is going to change.
My day slowly drifted on,every now and again i was thinking about motorcross practice.
Sighing at the thought i had to keep training for this competition in a few weeks.
I dont want to do it,but it would make my dad proud.
Eventually, it was the end of the day,i caught a lift to the training area with my brothers friend,Kyle.
He was alright,nothing special.
i changed into my gear and prepared my bike.
I had a few sessions out on the circuit to improve my performence,but it seemed like i was getting no where.
I was in the garage taking off my gloves angrilly slamming them down when a voice behind me spoke up.
`Hey` they said bleakly.
I looked behind me.
Their stood a boy,around about my age with brown spiked up hair and his gear wrapped around his waist.
I smiled `Hey` i replied
`I saw you out on the circuit` he pointed out
`Oh right` i nodded thinking nothing of it
`Training for the state championship in a few weeks then` he asked
I looked up at him slightly,slowly nodding `Doubt i win anything though.Rubbish at it` i moaned turning away from him.

Calvins POV:
She turned away from me.
I was stuck in a awkward postion for a moment or two till i looked at her bike
`Well,maybe i know why your not doing so good then` i said,looking up at her.
She turned to face me.
She had amazing eyes,ones to die for.
`Because im a girl` she sighed `Everyone says that`
I frowned.
`No` i shaked my head `Your bike,looks like it needs some repairs done to it.Why havent you upgraded it` i asked crouching down next to it.
`Well,i dont really have the money to repair it`
I looked up at her.
`Ill repair it for you` i offered `For free`
She chuckled,thats the first time she smiled and it gave me butterflies.
`No,its fine.Im sure you have your own bike to repair and other things to think about`
`No,honestly ill repair it for you.My bikes fine` he smiled `Please,then you`ll be able to perform better`

Jades POV:
I bit my lip.
Should i trust him? Should i not
Suddenly i blurted out
`Yeah,okay.Sounds good`
He grinned.
Cute smile i thought to myself.
But i dunno if i made the right choice.
Should i trust him?
He crouched down and began working on my bike.
I sat down next to him and we began chatting.

Summary

I sighed as i gathered all my school stuff up from the sofa.
It was just another day,another day in the life of me.
Jade Henna.
Repeating the same old routine i have to do five days a week
day in and day out.
Their was nothing exciting about my life,i didnt care about life the day my dad died.
it seemed like my world came crashing down.
I have a older brother,Leon.
But,i was the one who was closet to my dad.
him and mum seemed to of moved on from him
but theirs not a day that goes by that i still wish he was here,taking me to school in his car,giving me a peck on the cheek and saying `I love you`.
Those three words are no longer uttered in my house anymore,when my dad was around it was so joyful and fun now its just...nothing.
Suddenly a voice interrupted
`Jade,have you got your motorcross stuff`  my mum asked walking in from the kitchen drying her hands with the teacloth.
`Yes,mum` I mumbled.
`Good girl,you better be going.Dont want to be late now` she smiled and then walked back into the kitchen.
See. No `I love you`.
This family depresses me so much,i just wish dad was still here.
And your probaly wondering why she asked me if i had my motorcross gear?.
Well,my dad used to own a motorcross team called the Eagles.
Their used to be two brothers Steve and John who used to comepete reguarly in motorcrossing years ago,
one day they had they entered a competition and Steve won,winning himself a lifetime sponsor and £50,000 in cash,acourse you dont just leave money their do you,he decided to spend it all on himself and not his brother John,who often helped him with stuff.
But Steve didnt care and forget all about him and thats what made them two hate each other ever since,John decided to get a tattoo as he didnt want to be known as Steves brother anymore,so he got a Hawk tattoo and ever since then were all known as either a `Hawk` or a `Eagle` and yes we hate each others guts if we see one of the enemy.
And to prove we are one of them we get a Eagle tattooed on our wrist,if your not old enough you have a permanant marker of a eagle tattoed on your wrist,its the same for the hawks except they have it on their arm.
So now,i do motorcrossing,to fufill my dads dreams
i dont wanna dissapoint him.
I wanna make him proud of me
