Dazed, Confused,
and Pregnant.
Chapter 2
I got in my car and started driving, Jacob
lived on a lake, so it was kinda far out. To pass the time I
turned on the radio. Baby by Justin Bieber was on, great. Sick of
hearing the same word repeated several times I put in an old
Weezer CD Taylor had made me awhile back.
It had been awhile since
I’d been to Jacobs, but I figured I was there when I saw a
house with about 10 cars in the driveway. While getting out of my
car a noticed a guy getting out of his car to, I vaguely
recognized him from somewhere.
After one cheap beer and two
mountain dews’ were in my stomach, me and Taylor walked
over to a group of 3 people. It was Jacob, Andrew, and the guy I
saw getting out of his car earlier.
“Hi I’m
Jason.”
“Taylor.” She
said with her flirty smile.
Then he looked at me with those
huge blue green eyes giving a light smile.
“Hey I’m Leah
Hamilton”
For awhile we just talked and
laughed, I learned that he was going to be a freshman in
college, and that he was going to Arizona State, which was
a little while away, to be a mechanical engineer. I also found
out that he goes to a youth program at my church every
Wednesday night, which is why he looks so familiar.
Him and Taylor were flirting like
crazy, which didn’t make me happy at all considering I
was developing a little crush on him. They pretty much
spent the whole night together, laying on the grass and talking.
People totally noticed.
“Hey lets play Hide and
Seek!” somebody said.
Everybody agreed. I think
it’s because most people were drunk, I can’t imagine
a bunch of sober teenagers playing night games at
bonfire.
I looked over and Jason was
sitting by me, I think he noticed people noticing him and
Taylor.
“Hey, can I have your
number? For the game and all..”
I didn’t show it, but I was
totally flattered by this. I gave him my number and we talked for
a little bit. He was sweet, smart, and very mature yet fun to be
around.
The game didn’t last long,
considering nobody could stay quiet. But around midnight it was
dying down and I was getting tired. So I said my goodbyes and
started walking up to my car. I was almost there when I heard a
voice yell,
“Hey,
Leah!”
It was
Jason.
