Did you know that when you starve yourself, it actually doesn't make you skinnier?
When you stop the input of calories, your body says, "Oh no, we're not getting enough to eat. We'd better hold on to every gram of fat and every calorie we can!" And you don't get skinnier. If anything, you get larger.
Long term, it may make you skinnier; After months of eating absolutely nothing, you'll start to waste away. Your hair will fall out. Your skin will go pale and sickly and cut and bruise easily. Your organs will have trouble functioning. Your eyesight will fail and your hearing will have trouble working correctly. Denying your body food for so long is the perfect way to slowly and painfully waste away to nothing.
Do you want to lose weight? Easy!
Start eating big breakfasts. The more you eat in the morning, the better. Your body says, "Oh, we're getting a lot to eat today! Better burn lots of calories so we can stay on target." Then you eat a smaller lunch, and little to no dinner. It's fine to do this. You should eat lots of protein, greens, fruits, etc. Little to no milk or sugar- that means no cheese, butter, ice cream, etc. Make sure to exercise for 30 minutes every other day. Dancing, walking, swimming, anything. Preferably not running because it's hard on your joints. THIS is the way to lose weight. it's healthy, and you get to eat! Why on earth would you starve yourself when you can do this instead? I lost 20+ pounds doing this, and I'm still losing weight. I'm the skinniest and healthiest I've ever been right now.
Just keep your head up, darling. You are worth so much more than this. Screw society. Don't allow anyone to change how you feel- get fired up. ENJOY your life, in every tiny moment and every little laugh and second of joy. Hold on to it, capture it, remember it, believe it. You can be so much more. Everything you've ever been meant to be.
