Because things get better if you're patient. My friend has suffered so much in her 16 years of living, but she is still strong. Her mother has tried to kill her before when she was all cracked out. Just because it seems like everyone hates you doesn't mean it's true. There are people that love you, and I'm sure you don't want to put pain like this on them.

You can't let them die because it's a permanent solution to a temporary problem. Pain will go away eventually, and woulds will heal. But once you're dead you're dead, because no amount of love or healing can ever fix that. Every life will end, but why end it before it has to? Every painful experience is one more thing to add to your knowledge, one more thing you can be proud of for overcoming. You can't just give up. You have to keep fighting to live the life you were meant to live.
