Dear Daddy;
Today is Father’s Day. That’s why you’re Day Two. We don’t have the best relationship, but you know me so well. You know that I love Buzz Lightyear, and you know that I love – no, adore – Ferb Fletcher. Whenever you go out to wherever, you always bring me back something. That’s not what I love about you. It’s the fact that I’m still your little girl, your baby, and you love me for who I am: the lazy, messy, crazy, childish sixteen year old that you loved since I was just as long as your thumb.
No matter what you ever buy me – even if it’s my wedding dress – the best gift you ever gave me was saying you were going to stop smoking. I had to leave the room to keep myself from crying. I know you’ve been smoking for thirty years, but stopping could give you the ten extra years to see me graduate, to get married, to meet my kids. It’s been my fear that you wouldn’t be around to take pictures of my senior prom date and me; to give me away; to hold your grandchild. It’s given me so much hope to know that you are going to stop.
Whenever we’re alone in the car or at home, we always – somehow – end up talking about Phineas and Ferb. I know it’s kind of weird, but it’s my favourite way to spend time with you. You know the show better than I do, and you’re usually asleep during the episodes.
I don’t know what to get you for Father’s Day, but I know that no matter what it is, you’ll love it. After all, you still have the horribly drawn Phineas and Ferb card from last year on your table.

Day One: Younger Self.
Dear Younger Me;
I don't know where to start. Some things never change. I'm still the same person I was, just older. I don't cut my hair short anymore, and I only wear closed shoes. Remember that time when both sisters got out of the pool when you were eight? And you thought nobody cared so you tried holding your breath underwater to stop the feelings of abandonment? But you failed because you didn't have the lung power to keep your breath held for that long. Well, I'm glad, but then again, I still think about that sometimes. Not necessarily drowning, or passing out underwater, but I do think about leaving this life. Things got better in February, and then horrible just like that. One stupid mistake and it's all out the window.
I don't know if you knew or not, but when we were thirteen, Mom told me that we were supposed to be a twin. I kind of remember when Shelby told you, but you were only about five years old, so I don't know if it was real or not.
Thanks for not going through with it all those years ago. If you had, I wouldn't have met the boy of my dreams. He's famous, of course, but while you were playing Brats with cousin Morgan, his dad was doing stunts for Eragon. I remember going to see that movie the day it came out with Morgan, Shelby and Tabetha.
Tabetha and I are now closer than you and Ronni used to be. I consider them both my sisters, but I hang out more with Tabetha than Ronni.
