That's so wierd because in 6th grade we had to pick a poem to read every month or so and I picked that one. And I love Shel! Where the Sidewalk Ends was my first poem book I got. It was in first grade and I've loved him ever since!

If people don't like you because of your weight, that's ridiculous.
I don't know if you are underweight or over weight, but either way I bet you're beautiful.
If people don't like you for the way that you look, that is their loss, and those are the kind of people you don't want in your life.
Hold on to the friends that you have now and enjoy life being who you are.
