"Hey Kate" Liam spoke into the phone. You could tell something was very wrong. "Whats the matter?!" you asked, worries about your dear friend. "Well nothing, it's just today would have been Danielle&I's year anniversary if she hadn't have ended it." Danielle had broken up with Liam a few months before, she couldn't deal with the drama anymore. Liam was heartbroken, but you thought he had gotten over it. You were going to help your friend through this no matter how many tears fell. "Im coming over now, we will make brownies." You hang up the phone, you don't even need to hear his answer to know your going over. When you get to his house you walk in, greet his mum then run upstairs to see Liam. You&Liam are very close, so you just walk in whenever you want now. When you get to Liam's room you take a deep breath and open the door. Liam's strumming on a guitar, eyes red and puffy. Theres a box of Kleenex next to him. You walk over softly and give him a hug. He breaks down more, causing you to tear up. "Don't cry sweetheart, this is my mess, not yours." he whispers between sniffles. You look him in the eyes. "But your my best friend, when your hurt, im hurt. I love you..ya know, like a best friend should" you say with a kind hearted smile. "I love you too Kate. But, I want to do something that i've been waiting a while to do." you stand there, confused for a second. He strokes back a strand of your hair, and leans in close. You can feel his hot, heavy breath on your skin. Then he kisses you. It last for a few seconds, and it was a magical few seconds. You pull away, and suddenly regret pulling away. You like this boy, a lot. No you love him. Always have, you just never realized. "I love you Kate . More than a friend. You'll always be there for me. Your better than Danielle or anything other girl." he whispers. Your still together, 2 years later. And still two best friends, forever in love.
