INTRODUCTION.
 

Today I'm going to the doctors with my little sister. She hasn't been feeling too well, and has had symptoms such as a fever, a rash, achiness and a sore throat. My Dad thinks it might just be the flu, but I'm hoping that's the good news.

We finally arrived at the doctors, i held Carlies hand the whole time. She whispered in my ear, "I'm really scared Caryn". 
"it'll be fine" i responded back not knowing what the doctor might say.
"Carlie Ackensen"? 
My sister and i both walked up, out of the waiting room and into the doctors room.

i zoned out half the time until the doctor came back with the results. "I'm afraid you'll have to get a catscan, the results i cant find out now but hopefully theres nothing wrong." the doctor announced.

My dad made an appointment for the catscan today. Carlie was only allowed to bring one guest in the room, of course she brought me. i could tell Carlie was really nervous by the look on her face, i think she could tell i was nervous too.
we waited about a half hour for the results to come back and let me tell you they weren't good.

"I'm afraid to say this but, Carlie has Cancer."
