up until now, i've been holding it in.
i was ignoring what we had, and what we could have been.
somehow i thought that if i put it aside,
it was a way to escape, a way to hide.
but as hard i try, i can't run away,
it taunts me a bit more each and every day.
we never really dated, thats the obvious truth,
but i loved you more than you'll ever know, and you didn't love me too.
i thought that if i shut my eyes, the pain would disappear.
but somehow through that tight hold, my eye still sheds a tear.
i guess its too late now, you'll never know.

and thats the thing, i hate myself for this.

although its been almost a month, its hard to realise,
