Long, but worth
reading.
Today I saw a quote that
said,
"The first
ten years of a woman's life is spent playing with
Barbie's, the next ten are spent trying to look
like one."
So I did a
little
research,
And
I figured out
that...
If
BARBIE were a real woman
Her height would be 7' 2"
Her weight would be 101 lbs,
She would wear a size 4 dress,
Her bust would be 39", that's a
FF
cup,
Her waist would be 19", the same as her head,
Her hips would be 33",
And her shoe size would be a child size
3.
Due
to Barbie's odd proportions she would have to walk
on all fours.
Why?
Because the size of her feet doesn't equal enough
support to hold up the rest of her body
(Mostly caused by her breasts)
Pulling her forward onto her toes, and eventually onto
her
knees.
On
a REAL WOMAN at about 24 yrs of age...
Her height would be 5' 7"
Their weight, about 150 lbs,
Wear a size 14 dress,
and have a bust size of about a B cup,
Her waist about 40"
and her hips, about
42"
And
poor Barbie, she may someday marry her "Him"
(which would be Ken)
but chances are, they would never have kids
due to the % of Barbie's body fat,
she would have ceased to menstruate--that is if she
ever started to begin
with.
And
if ken were a REAL MAN...
He would stand 7' 8" tall,
(Just 6" taller than his "Wife to
be")
Lets just cut that part short, say you were a
man and you wanted to have a body like Ken, you would
have to add 7" onto your chest and 8" onto
your neck to match up to his
measurements.
My
theory is,
ROLE MODELS ARE GOOD TO HAVE,
BUT PICK A REALISTIC
ONE!
YOU'RE B-E-A-UTIFUL!!!
