As another cross country season comes to a close,
I would like to take a moment to congratulate and say goodbye to our seniors.

You're one of my favorite people on the planet, in all seriousness. You're such an inspiration and a role model. You're the glue that holds our team together. I want to be you when I grow up. Love you, mother hen, take me with you to college!

Emily --
You're so determined and passionate and fiery. We can all learn from you.

Eric --
Always friendly, always trying hard and always good for a laugh when trying to put the tent together (because, you know, we forget every two hours...)

Frankie --
 You're so nice and just an all around good guy, never without a few words of encouragement, some advice, and a smile.

Lila --
You're honestly the sweetest girl I know. You never gave up, ever, and I have so much respect for that!

Rachel --
You've always been there to help everyone out with everything, and it's just awesome to have someone so positive, helpful and honest.

Ruth --
You didn't just have fun at XC, you were the fun! You and Sam are the dynamic duo, and you never failed to make us crack up.

Sam --
All hail the Queen of Sarcasm! You're absolutely hilarious and we will definitely miss your wit and sense of humor next year!

Stanley --
It was kinda the cutest ever when you teared up at the end of the banquet. I'm glad that you're glad you joined.

& last but not least, Zach --
Over the last year and a half or so I've gotten to know you, you've quickly become like the older brother I never had, and I will miss you sooo much next year. I'll never forget to "power through the pain" -- though I'll never be on time ever again without your reminders, haha.

I love each and every one of you so much, and I can honestly say that you've made a difference in my life. I was so happy to be part of this team for my second year, as well as earn my varsity letter!

We may not be the fastest runners out there, but we're definitely the best team. More of a family than a team. And you know why? Because while anyone can run with their legs...

We run with our hearts.
