v Yeah, we don't really have any dominantly popular groups in Australia. And I also wanted to point out that a playwright is a person who writes plays. Also, you said that school popularity is an untouched subject but then you said it's cliche... nonetheless, I'm sure people will like it.

I guess in Australia the whole social cliques thing isnt as prominent. Cos im in my last year of school, and ive been through a couple of schools in my time, but i havent ever seen the whole popular not popular thing.
I mean, sure, we're divided up into groups, but theres no one popular group or anything. So, idk.
Also, playwrite/wright is the person who writes the plays. But i still like your idea.

So I guess I'm in that kind of popular crowd. So I moved to my town North Branford 2 years ago. I use to live in Guilford & I was not popular AT ALL. I didn't wear nice clothes, my hair was always gross, I just idk. I use to get bullied everyday for being fat & gross. I had a few friends, but I always tried to get with the in crowd. After that, I moved to a whole new town North Branford (as I said before) & I got in, but I completely changed. The first day of school was scary. I wasn't good with making friends. I was only good with making people laugh. So I sat next to this girl named Katie. She was really pretty had a lot of friends & we became BEST FRIENDS. I didn't know she was that popular until she started talking to a lot of people, then all her friends talked to me & she made everyone know me. I then realized that if I wanted to stay popular I had to change my whole look. I started straightening my hair, & made my mom bring me to the mall & go to aeropostale, hollister, & pink. I don't live with my dad. I only live with my mom. She doesn't have a lot of money, but she tries. She tried to buy me some nice clothes & she did. I started blending in with the popular crowd more. Then the next year came. Me & Katie got apart, but I still had many friends. Everyone still thought of me as popular & I got really self conscious. I straightned my hair everyday, made my mom get me new clothes a lot, wanted all the new phones & everything. I started wearing make up & I cared about what everyone thought about me. I started getting obsessed with boys having a lot of guy friends & I had a lot of boyfriends too. I even broke up with one of my boyfriends because people kept making fun of me for going out with him. I shouldn't care what other people thought.. but I did. & I still do. Most people call me a & a because I cheated on my boyfriend. It was a big mistake. I don't want all you witty girls say I'm a slore & now, but I didn't do it on purpose believe me or not. Anyways, I guess I was popular even though I didn't have many friends. I had like 2 really good friends in school that I told everything to. Phil & Jess. They were my bestfriends. Exspecially Phil. We made fun of each other constantly & people were always like yeah you guys obviously like each other! but we didn't & we really would never like each other. We told eachother everything & he helped me out of cutting a lot & he was just always there for me & gave me advice. He knew me like other people didn't. He dated my bestfriend Erin. They're dating now too. Erin was also my bestfriend, but she lived in a different town. She has been my bestfriend for 6 years & we're basically sisters. I go to her house like everyday even during school days I went there & she was always there for me & we just have the craziest times together. I also have my other bestfriend, Alyssa. She lives in another town too, but not in the same one as Erin & we're just weird together. Sooo yeah i don't know what to say now lol.

ermm I'm friends with most of the 'it' people adn they seem really sweet (most of the guys are!) but the girls are all backstabbing b*tches! Some girls are ultimate sweethearts and some aren't, ya know. but at school, we don't do cliques. we all merge, unless you're 'weird'. but thats plain harsh in my opinion. anyone can hang out with anyone but most popular guys spend their time playing football (the british kind)! x

the "populars" in my school are really just the soccer girls and the 'hot' girls. They are always with guys and one who's name is Livi is a ... the other is prety much friends with everyone(Jess). Sara is the girl who everyone thinks is super pretty, athletic, and nice. But she's none of those things. All of her pictures are photoshopped, she get all the guys and the only sport she is good at is soccer. She just pretends to be nice and has like, 5 different laughs. all the school b/tches are rich and get everything they want. I'm not sure if im close to popular or just not even close. idk, cause im actually friends with a few populars... oh well. i dont wanna be friends with them anyways. and there is this one girl..Sammie, who i dislike with a burning passion. SHe pushed me in gym and then told everyone that i scratched her on purpose... i didnt touch her. i really hate everything about that b/tch. Karma's going to bite me in the a$$ now. anyways...there is not just 1 girl... the populars are the soccer girls, the sexy nonathletics, sn the .. the nonpopulars are average kids, the ones you neer hear of ,the shy ones, the drama seekers and the gangstas. Names: Sara(fake-nice prob most pop), ALexsia(chill, dont know her reallly well), Molly(REALLY nice i love her...), Jess(knows everyone.lots of boy drama), Livi(school ), Julia(pretty), amy(dresses like . hangs out with guys), soccer girls(all do drugs all b/tches. my friend is REALLY good at soccer, but wont play for school team b/c she doesnt like anyone...i dont blame her, though)... now for guys... Zach(hottest guy in school..soccer boy), soccer boys(all hot-ish. going out with all soccer girls), Jake(skateboarder, friends with soccer girls), Will(baseball guy), baseball guys (all really hot[for the most part]), -hot guys (self-explainitory). <----Tim

We've got a few cliques at my school. The populars, however are a divided group. You have the "" and the non-. Not one of the girls is completely on top. But each and every single one of them has their admirers and haters, especially within the group. But I'm just going to tell you about one girl, who I think is closest to the top as anyone.
Let's name this girl Marissa. She's beautiful, first of all. Stunning with our without makeup, thin of course, and she has a closet to die for. Her fashion sense is amazing! She does both cheer for basketball and football, which means she knows loads older kids. Her boyfriend is already "popular", which adds to her popularity. Her family has some good money. And to top it off, she's the sweetest girl in either of the popular groups. She's the type of girl that you don't typically think of with stereotypical popularity, but she's amazing because of that.

At my school, there are only really 3 cliques
1. 'Populars'
Just basically any 'normal' person who can actually make conversation
2. Unpopulars
People with friends that aren't really popular
3. Loners
Well...yeah

I'm only 11 though and school hasn't become all complicated yet.

But there's this girl let's name her katie, she is super pretty, nice, and funny. She's absolutely gorgeous and has blonde, perfectly curled (natural) hair. She's got a perfect body for our age, and wears no makeup and is drop dead gorgeous. She was class president, plays in Allstate band, a cheerleader, and has straight a-s and is in adv classes. She won "most likely to be homecoming queen" and is super nice to everyone. She's the girl everyone wants to be and every guy wants.

Oh, and there's this family in my town, let's call them the smiths. They have 6 girls and one little boy in kindergarten. Every single girl is gorgeous, the oldest even competed in jr. Miss America. They're sorta ledgendary at my school, the oldest is a senior and the 2nd oldest is the most popular person in our school district. Everyone knows her. She's pretty and nice, cheerleader and every girl in the city wants to be her and every guy would kill to have her. All the kids in their family are easily the most popular in their grade, maybe even at their schools.

Kay I'm pretty sure mine will beat all stories...

These are the groups in order:
1.) pretty committee(they call themselves that) basically a group of slu.tty cheerleaders who go around stealing boyfriends and being fake as hell. (me and my friends call them b*tchy committee)
2.) me and my friends who are "popular" I guess but no , all just funny people who like to laugh and sometimes fight but still get along despite drama
3.) the "Asians" (I don't mean to be …that's what they are) a bunch of cool fun and pretty people who are shy but smart and nice.
4.) not nerds: girls who aren't popular but aren't Asians or social outcasts and ban together very shy but nice.
5.) outcasts/nerds/loners who are always alone at lunch or the extra person for partner work in class.

Well this was our girls social order for middle school, it'll be much more complicated I guess in high school...ugh! hahaha

sorry, but, why do you keep saying playwright? a playwright is the writer of a play... i think you just mean to say story? i dunno..

There are really only two groups at our school...there's the nerds, and then there's everyone else. Because the education here is poor, there are only about forty 'nerds', and we're all really, really close. We're definitely a clique, but two-thirds of us don't really try talking to anyone else. So I can't tell you about all the other kids, aside from the fact that they all dress and act the same, and that there's like five hundred of them.

all of the girls at my school who are popular are honestly really nice, but everyone judges them before they get to know them, and they're all labeled as //whores etc. its really not fair because if you actually go up and have a conversation with one of them theyre all really sweet and friendly, but nobody knows that.

At my school, There's a big group of girls who are . They wear really short shorts where their butts hang out and their shirts are all see through and short and low cut. The popular guys all wear hats with lacrosse socks and basketball shoes. And they all walk around like they think they're better than every one else. And every day they cut the lunch line. And they always ask you to do stuff for you and if u give in once they'll expect it all the time. I stood up and said no and now they don't bother me anymore

There is a huge group of of girls and boys who think they are all that and everybody should love them. They have to have all the hot stuff like toms and sperrys. I personally dont like them. also they will use you and if you are strong they wont touch you. For instance, they dont mess with me because i wont take it but they will mess with my friend because she is easy to break. they are so insicure you can totally see it. they also dress really slutly with short shorts and low cut tops.

At my school, we have this popular family, the Tedfords. They're popular because their daddy is the mayor of my town. They get all the attention and love. Like, our school does this thing 'Cutest Couples' for each grade. And Ali Tedford, she's in my grade, got it with some boy she wasn't even dating. There were actual couples in my grade, but noo, she had to be chosen. And the bad thing, is she's nice. So it's hard for people to hate her. I just don't think she should get so much attention.
