This is a good quote and sad one :'( I don't like abortion. It makes me want to cry because the little kid who could be here today isn't because the mom.
I don't like abortion either it's sad how mothers can abort the baby, but they have their own opinion, and there's nothing we can do about it, but respect their decisions.
Yeah :( there is a church by my house and for about a month back in February, they put over 100 flags in the grass and put a sign up saying "Over 40 million lives have been lost due to abortion this past year" and it makes me want to cry.
When you go outside here, you better take some sun screen, water bottles, and a fan. They don't recommend you to be outside for a long period of time. People have died because it's too hot.
I have never experience a blizzard in my life. I have never experience snow. Snow is like a foreign concept. I've heard of snow, but have I witness it, nope.
We had so much snow this year that we had school canceled and now we have to make it up. That's gotta suck though, mixture of humidity and heat is always the worse
Yes, it is. And all year around it's filled with humidity. I mean it could be 90 outside, but it feels like 102 or so. Our AC is pretty much on all year, because it's even hot when it's "winter",
Omg the same for me, that's why I never like to straighten my hair. Yeah, that's what I'm planning on doing. For college I'm looking into St, Benedict in Minnesota, I've heard it's cold there.
I straighten my hair all the time but in the summer i always have it up. Yea it should be, I'm from Michigan and we are like right next to Minnesota so i guess we get kinda the same weather.
My hair is usually up during the summer, because It grows fast and it's a lot! I'm planning on visiting the campus, but I want to go when it's really cold.
I'm still undecided. I want to go to St. Benedict, but then I want to go to California. But then a representative of Alabama came, and the school looks really nice. & then my parents want me to go to Texas A&M. I'm just a mess. I take my ACT on April 13, and I'm not ready for it.
Well it should be up to you on where you want to go because you are the one that's going to be going to the college. California gets like 85ish i think somewhere around there, my half sisters live there. Good luck! I took mine March 5. Have you practiced for it or anything??
Yeah I know, why does life has to be so complicated? And I have practice for it, but most of the time I get distracted or I fool around. My school has this class you have to take, were all you do is practice for the ACT or SAT, and you college essays, which is so boring.
Rightt! I think we shouldn't even have to take the ACTs or SATs, they are basically a waste and some people do worse on tests like this instead of in school. I bet it is! The teachers at my school handed out like practice tests and that's all we did. How long is the class??
I know, some people don't do good under pressure. The class is around 54 minutes, everyday. & the teacher is like so annoying, she doesn't do anything. The other day, she came to me and told me about my friends being a bad influence on me, and that I shouldn't laugh at the things they say. I was like yeah they bad influence in my education, when I have all A's in my classes.
Haha wowww they are 'totally' a bad influence on you, teachers these days. My chemistry teacher speaks to us like we are five years old and don't know anything. She repeats herself over 5 times. For example yesterday she borrowed my notes to copy because a lot of people were gone and she forgot to put something over my name on my paper, so all of her copies have my name on it. Then shes like remember to cross out Dominique's name and put your name just in case it gets lost. She said that 6 times
I hate when they do that. Like you'r asking a serious question, and they decide not to respond to your question. Like my Theology teacher always goes off topic, and when you're trying to ask a serious question he gets mad because he thinks it's a silly question.
That gets on my nerves. I scream at them, when they see that I was quietly raising my hand over a period of time and they decide to talk to another student.
Rightt and you're the good student in the class and you get your homework done, then they ignore you to help someone else like a person who most likely wont do the homework anyway
Thank you, that's my problem. I do my homework, and when I decide that I need help, they're never there. They decide that I will great without their help. I absolutely hate science. Anything related with science I hate it. When people say that math is hard, I'm thinking to myself, "how can you say that, math is so easy, while science, it's just too much". I rather take a math exam, than be in science class. My science teacher expects us to know everything, without him teaching. He just gives you homework, and that's it. He has never been in front of the classroom teaching. I hate those kind of teachers.
Yesss! And rightt! I love algebra but some parts i get a little confused about so i ask my teacher and he says ohh its in your notes, then i said yea i looked but i don't understand then he says something that's like in a totally different language and im like huh??? And my sociology teacher gives us notes, assigns a little art project a quick review sheet then the test the next day.. I learn absolutely nothing from that
I love math! I've never in my life gotten below an A in my report cards. But when it comes to science, I'm a hot mess. I fail every test, but the good thing is that the homework I turn in makes me pass the quarter.
Haha that's basically the same with me. I usually do bad on tests and quizzes but get hundreds on my homework. I like doing formula stuff, i just hate story problems
That's how I'am in Science, last year I took chemistry, and it was the worse year ever. I didn't learn a thing in there, and this year I got the same teacher for Earth and Space, and i just can't remember anything.
Ooooo that's gotta suck. I had the same science teacher for three years. At my school there's a Spanish teacher (well there's two but one teachers one year and the other teaches two year) anyway they both have very different teaching styles like in year one you were just learning the words and finding out what they meant. In Spanish two you learn to speak more native however i was failing that class (im an A student also) because of the transition of the teaching and the Spanish two teacher corrects penmanship like if your tails of your letters touch the top of the line, after that i had to type everything
Are you for real? Some teacher abuse their powers. My AP Spanish teacher doesn't care. We go in class. sit and take our phones out the whole period. He doesn't care if we learn or not. He doesn't like giving out work because he doesn't like grading papers.
Woww haha your lucky in a way. We have a policy at our school for having phones in class. At the begining of the year all the teachers say no phones in class or we take them away but later you find out tht some dont follow it. Today i thought i was gonna get my phone taken away cause i forgot i still had it on sound and it went off. But I didnt get it taken away lol
My school has a lot of rules! Phones aren't allow in our school. If they see them in the hallways they'll take them away. You get a detention if you don't wear the right shoes or if you forget your tie. I mean you get a detention, if your shirt buttons aren't button all the way up. I've never been catch texting in class.
Holy cow!! You have to wear uniforms?? We are allowed to have our phones out in the hallways and at lunch. There's a dress code on like how short shorts can be but nobody follows it (i kinda think its a little sluty) but we can basically wear anything
Yes, we wear uniform. Girls have to wear skirts, a blazer, and tie, while boys wear a blazer and a tie. I mean we have really strict rules, only because it's a private school. I mean you get Saturday detention for the little things such as chewing gum, or if you don't do a major assignment. In my school the policy is "the consequence for not doing your work is doing the work". Although we have a lot of rules we don't follow them. Like people have the urge to defy the rules, so they bring alcohol or drugs to school.
Haha woww, that's rough. I think i would maybe go crazy. But you gotta break the rules sometimes lol a couple people this year got caught smoking weed outside during lunch and they just got a suspension
I mean you can take alcohol any day, and they won't care. I mean they caught people drinking and they didn't even get suspended. My school is something else.
Woww and you'd think it would be the other way around. At our school we can't wear costumes for the Halloween dance because people snuck in drugs, marijuana, and cigerettes
Well my school, tries to be the perfect school, which in reality is not. I mean all the kids want to be bad, and like show off. We have this public school near us, and the kids from that school and our school are always competing for like which school is the most "cool"
Haha wow, kinda sounds like a school near us, they think they are better than us. Everyone at my school calls them esky hoes (the school is called escanaba so esky for short)
That's my school, It's full of spoil kids who think they're better than other people. I mean they are so rude, and mean. I mean they leave a mess in the cafe, because they say that that's why we have a cleaning lady.
Wow, I feel bad for the cleaning lady. But there's nothing much you can do about the people though, but once they get out of school and get into college and start living more of their life, reality will hit them
I know, it sucks that they treat people bad. I mean we're all humans, and we all deserve some kind of respect. Even my teacher says that our school reminds him of Mean Girls. Especially our class.
Purple and orange and blue,
lol i googled it hahaha :p
