Chapter One- Part Two
“You’re telling me. Where did eighteen years go? I remember little you always begging me for something new. Which reminds me, what do you want for your birthday, Ms. I’m-Going-To-Harvard-Next-Month?”
“Daaaaad... Haha. Just one thing,” I say, my grey eyes shining with hope.
“And what’s that?”
“A house. Near Harvard. I don’t wanna live on campus. One small room shared with another girl for six years to live in, isn’t gonna be comfortable for me.”
“You’re right,” he begins to joke, “we don’t wanna put another person through the pains of waking you up.”
“Haha. Thank you, Dad. I love you!” I say as I give
him a cheek kiss, one of those father, daughter ones. Then he
exits my room and allows me to get dressed for school.

screwy.*
“Luna- Ahh!”
“Whoops! Sorry! But you know not to wake me up like that. Next time, throw something at me and I won’t end up hitting you...”
“Oh, I’ll throw something alright,” my father jokes as he helps me out of bed.
“Dad, I can get myself out. I’ll be an adult tomorrow!”Lunar
