So today
was finally going to be the day.
I was finally going to tell him how I felt.
Yesterday, I stopped doing homework to search for cute hairstyles.
I practiced what I was going to say to him for 100 times.
Today, I set my alarm to wake me up at 4:30;
I ironed my uniform,
did my hair like ten times until it was perfect,
practiced my facial expressions in the mirror,
and went against the law by applying lipgloss
(my school doesn't let us wear make-up)
Since he attends another school, I had to anxiously wait the entire day.
When it was finally time, I practically ran to my house and sat on a bench nearby (we're neighbors)
I pretended to read, and for two hours, I waited.
He never came, so I left.
The next day, I found out he had been sick and hadn't been able to go to school.
I'm pretty sure this a sign from Heaven that I'll be
Forever Alone.
 

Am I the only one who thinks that kids talking back to their parents and teachers isn't "cool"?
