Today is my two year
Witty anniversary...
I have so much
to say, it's not even funny. I'm literally writing it
from 11/18 to 11/21 because I can't even put all my
thoughts into a "quote". I have so many things
to say and I doubt anyone's going to waste their time
reading this but here it goes. First off, I'd like to thank
Steve. Without him, I probably wouldn't be the same person
I am today. Witty was where it all started and actually, I can
remember exactly where I was when I made my account and what I
was doing. I was lying in my bed texting my friends who were
telling me to sign up for Witty. I wasn't allowed to have
any social networking sites so I was pretty excited to sign up
for something and not let my parents know. I couldn't
figure out a good username and being the brilliant person I am,
I decided to be very literal and make my username
MyWittyProfile.. little did I know as soon as I pressed
"Create My Account" my life would drastically change.
I never really came on much until maybe Christmas time. I only
had a few followers and this site didn't make much sense.
(It was very different and there wern't any tutorials, or
"people you should follow" who would be more than
gladly help you out. You were basically on your own. I made my
first friend on here, and then another, someone who I love more
than anyone in the entire world. I'm not going into detail
with those two friends because that'd be wayyyy too long.
If you were my follower back then, you'd remember one of
them haha. Basically I became addicted to this site and was on
whenever I could. I tried to stop, I "left" this site
so many times but I always come back... lol. Oh, and I
definately got into more fights than you should, on the
internet or off. Oops. At my one year anniversary, I hit 1k, I
was soo happy. I felt really accomplished to be honest haha.
& here I am a year later only gaining 200+ followers, but
I'm okay with that. This website taught me many things and
honestly I could write sooo much more about how Witty affected
me but I don't really want to put the last two yeards of my
life into a quote ha. Anyways, I just wanted to say how I love
this website and how Steve, you're
rad.
