One Step Closer

Chapter 10

After first period I walked to my next class which was English. I walked into the classroom and sat at the front and started reading while waiting for Mrs. Meredith came after a couple of minutes I notice someone sit next to me but I didnt really pay attention to who it was "whatcha reading?" Andy said from next to me and I jumped about 3 feet in the air then laughed "Twilight, it's my favourite book" I smiled "cool" he said then Mrs. Meredith came in and paired us up and we had to write a story together, I was partnered with Andy luckily "so what should we write the story about?" I asked turning to Andy and he though about it for a little then said "I dont know, you can decide" "ok, it's not that hard any way, I'll write the start then you can write some then give it to me then I'll write some then give it to you and we continue with that" I said and wrote down some idea's for a story then the bell went for next class.

When it was Lunch time I met all my friends at our usual spot and sat down "Do you guys want to come with CeeCee and I to the beach on the weekend? It'll be awesome!" I asked excitedly and they all nodded "cool so what time, Saturday or Sunday?" Kyle asked "hows Saturday for everyone?" CeeCee asked they all replied 'yea' or 'good' "how about we all meet there at about 10.30 and have a barbeque lunch there?" Lucas suggested "cool" Paige agreed. I finished eating my salad then the bell went for next period everyone grumled as they got up but I laughed at them because I had a free period and then they all got up except for Lucas "free period?" I asked "yepp" he laughed "same" I said "lets sit in the quad" Lucas said and I got up and we walked over there and sat down under neath a tree "so I heard that you and Shaun are going on a date.." Lucas said pulling his lap top out of his school bag "yeah, you heard?" I said cautiously "yea CeeCee told me" He said and I rolled my eyes "typical" I laughed "just be careful of him, I dont trust him" Lucas said "ok" I said "your like my little sister, I worry about you" Lucas smiled and I laughed and went onto my macbook and went onto WittyProfiles and laughed at some funny quotes and Lucas and I talked about lots of stuff that didnt really matter. Then the bell for the next period went.

After my last 3 classes I walked with CeeCee to the train station "do you have work tonight?" CeeCee asked as we sat down "yeah and then we have a 'staff meeting' afterwards" I said and I put air quotation marks in 'staff meeting' "awh I was hoping we could go to a movie tonight" CeeCee pouted and I laughed "sorry" I said then the train stopped and I got up and said see you to CeeCee and walked to the Restraunt.

"Hello Pappa" I said to my Pappa as I enterd the back room where I put my bag "Hi Charlotte, how was school?" He asked "It was good" I replied then Pappa went back into the kitchen to cook because he is the head chef. I quickly got changed out of my school uniform and into my work uniform and got my pencil and note pad and walked over to a table and asked for their order "Hi can I take your order?" I asked then the family gave me their order and I wrote it down and put it with the other orders "Charlotte can you take these to table 5 s'il vous plaît (please)" Pappa asked "sure Pappa" I replied and took the three plates to table 5. When I got there Shaun, Andy and Bradie were sitting there "hi, heres your orders" I smiled and gave them their plates "Thanks" Shaun said "your welcome, so what brings you guys here?" I asked "just looking for a good meal" Bradie said "cool, I've got to get back to work, see you guys tommorow" I said "when does your shift finish?" Shaun asked "at 5" I replied "meet me out the front then" Shaun winked "ok.. see you then, buy guys" I blushed then walked back to Pappa and served other people.

Chapter 9

"Charlotte Réveillez-vous, il est temps pour l'école! (Wake up, it's time for school!)" Aunt Linda called up the stairs "Je suis debout! (I'm up!)" I said getting out of bed and got changed brushed my teeth then put on my school uniform and put my work clothes in my school bag for after school then put some eye liner on and braided my hair. Jake was still asleep so I got a sticky note and wrote went to school and I have work afterwards, see you at about 7 xx Charlotte

I got my school bag then went down stairs and had some toast and I walked out the front door and put my earphones in and listend to my ipod while I walked to the train station and sung along to the song "see the strobes light up the backs of your eyes?

Then the train came and I got on and sat in my usual seat with CeeCee then I saw Shaun, Andy and Bradie getting on the train and I smiled at Shaun and he gave me a 'sup' nod "oh my god did you just get a 'sup' nod from Shaun?!" CeeCee asked putting quotation marks on sup, "yea he asked me out on a date for on Friday" I grinned "oh em gee Lotte! What are you going to wear?!" She pretty much shouted "shhh !! I'm not sure but I want to look casual yet cute" I replied and blushed "we're going shopping on Thursday" CeeCee announced "okay" I smiled then the train stopped and i stood up and put my bag over my shoulder then walked the rest of the way to school with CeeCee "So what areyour plans for the weekend?" CeeCee asked as we walked "I'm not really sure yet but I'm thinking about going to the beach, do you wanna come and everyone else?" I asked and her face lit up "sure, cool we'll orgonise it at Lunch" CeeCee replied and then we ented the school and I went staight to my locker since I had to put some books in there and I got the books I needed for my next couple of classes.

Chapter 8

"CeeCee wait up!" I shouted catching up to her "hey you were great at assembly" she said and pushed her blonde hair over her shoulder "thank you" I saidand we walked to the train station. "Do you have much homework?" I asked as we waited for the train "not really only history, you?" she replied "I have some for science" I said and the train came and we got on and sat in our seats. Then my phone started ringing, it was Grace- Salut! Je suis dans l'avion pour l'Australie dès maintenant! (hi! I'm on the plane to Australia now!)

Me-oh my gosh, combien de temps jusqu'à ce que vous serez là? (oh my gosh, how long till you'll be here?)

Grace- Je pense à une heure ou deux! (I think about an hour or so!)

Me-Yay! vous voyez alors (Yay! See you then)

Then the train stopped and "see you tommorow CeeCee!" I said and got off the train and started walking home. "Hey Charlotte" Andy, Shaun and Bradie said from behind me "Hey" I said and they caught up to me "whats up?" Bradie asked "nothing really, my friend from France is moving to Budgewoi today and she called me while I was on the train, you?" I asked "thats cool, nothing just walking and stuff" Bradie laughed then they got to Bradie and Andy's house "see you guys tommorow" I waved as they walked up the driveway "see ya" they said and Shaun winked at me and I blushed and walked up my diveway and went inside "ahh enfin ma nièce est à la maison! Comment était l'école? (ahh finally my niece is home! How was school?)" my Aunt Linda asked and I blushed and giggled "il était vraiment bon! J'ai été invitée à sortir sur une date (it was really good! I was asked out on a date)" I replied went up stairs to my room and called Ray from SpikeZone VolleyBall and Rose and I start on Wednesday night. Then Jake came into my room "its so boring here when your at school" Jake pouted and I laughed "it's not my fault I need an education" I replied then got out my macbook and went onto you tube and I saw a picture of me in the most veiwed section.. "why are you in a video on you tube?" Jake asked and I just stayed silnt and clicked on the video and it was on me singing at assembly today. I screamed after it finished and every one cam into my room "What happend?! Are you ok?!" My Dad asked and I just sat there grinning and showed them the video of me "I'm famous..." I said amazed "well this will be interesting when you go to school tommorow" Jake laughed and I glared at him. I heard the door bell ring down stairs and I ran down stairs and opend the door and opend it and standing there was my best friend from France "GRACE!!!" I screamed and hugged her and she laughed "Charlotte! J'ai raté tellement! L'Australie est si jolie! (Charlotte! I missed you so much! Australia is so pretty!)"she said to me as we broke apart from our hug "Tu m'as manqué aussi! Où habitez-vous?! (I missed you too! where do you live?!)" I asked "Travers de la route (Across the road)" She replied pointing to the house with the sold sign in the front yard and I waved at Graces parentscarying boxes intothe house amd they waved back. "Pouvez-vous parler bien l'anglais ou? Parce que ça va être dur de traduire pour vous (Can you speak much English or? Because it's going to be hard translating for you)" I said "Yeah I can speak fluent English like you" She laughed "oh good !, so when do you start school?" I asked "not tommorow but the day after" she replied "cool"i smiled "I better go help then now, see ya" Grace said then crossed the road "bye!" I waved to her then went back inside and Mama and Aunt Linda were cooking dinner.

After dinner Jake and I went into the lounge and played 'Just Dance' on the wii and I was loosing "HA HA I'm winning" Jake shouted and I stuck my tounge out at him. After severel hours of playing the wii we went to bed.

Chapter 7

Before I knew it was time to go to the Auditorium for the assembly and the whole school would be there and I walked back stage and got my voice ready and my friends sat down on the chairs infront of the stage. "Nervouse?" I turned around and Bradie wa there and I smiled "a little bit" I laughed then he went on stage and set up his drum kit. Then the assembly started and our principal Mr.Rodger announced us and I walked on stage and I saw the whole school and I smiled and started singing and Shaun joined in and Andy did back ups.

Yeah" I sang and at the end every one clapped "thanks" I said quietly into the microphone and smiled and Mr.Rodger came back on stage "Your very own Charlotte Petit, Shaun Diviney, Andy Clemmensen and Bradie Webb and I smiled and walked off stage grinning and women about 25 came over to me "Hi I'm Linda from the talent agency and I just video recorded you singing and I'm going to send it to a record compony! Yo have an amazing voice!" Linda said and I grinned "thank you thats awesome" I exclaimed "I just need your details so that I can give them to the record compony" She said and handed me a clip board with some questions on it and I filled it out and gave it back to her "Thank you, you will hear from them within the next couple of days" She smiled and walked off and I couldnt stop smiling after that.

After the assembly it was he end of the day and we went to home room to be dismissed. "You were awesome Charlotte!"Shaun said walking next to me and I blushed "thanks, so were you" I said "no really you were, who was that lady that came over to you?" he asked "some talent agency who wants to sign me" I smiled "umm.. I was wondering if you wanted to go on a date with me on Friday.."Shaun asked nervously and I think my hart skipped a beat at that, Shaun is really nice and pretty funny "I would love to" I grinned "awesome, I'll pick you up at 7" Shaun said excitedly and I gav him my phone number then we went to our homerooms and got dismissed.

Chapter 5

I walked into the school with CeeCee and we sat down with our other friends Kyle, Rose, Paige and Lucas. After a while of catching up on what we did on the weekend the bell rang for our first class, I had English. I started walking to English then I saw Andy walking in the same direction as me, I walked into the class room and sat down at the front and Andy came and sat next to me "wait you go to this school too?!" He asked and I laughed "didn't you see me at the train station?" I smiled "no.." then he laughed and the teacher came in Mrs. Meredith "ok class here are you exams, now no cheating, no talking and when you are finished hand them to me, you have 2 hours" She said handing them out "GO!!" She shouted when she finished handing them out.

One and a half hours later I had finished my exam, I finished it so fast because English was my best subject and I wanted to become an Author and I found that exam easy. I got up and walked up to Mrs.Meredith and gave her my exam and went back to my desk to pack my stuff back up and Andy looked at me with wide eyes and I silently laughed and nodded at him and exited the classroom and went to the quad and sat underneath a tree and put my earphones in and played some music while I opend up my mac book to go on WittyProfiles and look at the top quotes. After a couple of minutes some one tapped me on my shoulder and I probably jumped 3 feet into the air then laughed seeing Shaun sitting down next to me and he laughed at me "what are you doing out here?" he grinned "I finished my English exam half an hour early so I decided to sit out here" I smiled "cool, are you on tumblr?" Shaun asked reffering to the site im on my comuter "no, its similar, its called WittyProfiles" I replied "cool"Shaun said then the bell rang for the next period, I had my singing lesson. I closed my computer lid then put it in my school bag "what do you have now?" I asked "umm.. maths you?" Shaun said rolling his eyes and I laughed at him "my singing lesson" I replied "cool, i'll see you later" he said walking over to the maths block and I walked over to the music room.

One Step Closer

Chapter 4

After we had dinner we put music on and every one danced and the got drunk and then when it started to get late every one went to bed. Jake and I shared my room but he had his own bed "bonne nuit Jake (good night)" I mumbled sleepily "bonne nuit Charlotte (good night)" Jake said as I fell asleep.

I woke up to my alarm going off and I pushed snooze and I got up and brushed my hair and put my school uniform on and got my school bag and went down stairs "tous au revoir, je vais à l'école maintenant! (goodbye every one I'm going to school now!)" I shouted "Amusez-vous à l'école (have fun at school)" Mama said to me and I pt my phone in my pocket and exited the house and started walking to the train station when I heard Andy, Shaun and Bradie talking... behind me and I looked over my shoulder and they were wearing the same school uniform as me...

When I got to the train station I stood at the platform and waited for my train to come and I saw Shaun, Andy and Bradie waiting for the train as well and then the trai came and I got on and took my seat next to one of my friends CeeCee "Hi CeeCee, how was your weekend?" I asked putting my bag on the floor "it was good, what did you do?" CeeCee asked "you know work, VolleyBall and some of my family cam down from France oh and I met these three guys who go to our school at the cafe" I replied "Oh cool! Are they cute? Whats their names?" she asked and I laughed at her "yeah.. their names are Shaun, Andy and Bradie" I replied then the train stopped and I picked up my bag and we got off the train.
