True Love
He loved her every day and every night
She was sick, and soon to be out of sight
That one rainy day, the minutes slowly inched by
This was the time he had to say goodbye
He sits by her grave day and night
Hoping and praying for her to be in sight
But she stayed in the ground
And there she will stay safe and sound
Then one day they were together
Walking through the gates entering heaven.
Autumn
I rode 5 miles into the monstrous Yellow Stone national park. The wind howled and screamed and the branches swayed back and forth. The vivid red, yellow, and orange leaved danced across the cold ground. The air was cool on my face as my horse galloped through the thick forest. The trees stretched to the sky and beyond. In the distance I could hear the faint sound of sleek grey wolfs howling into the wind. The leaves crunched under the hooves of my dark brown stallion. As we ran the trees zipped by as if they were running from a beast and the beautiful baby blue sky held no clouds. We rode until we couldn't ride anymore, so we set up camp under the shade of a large oak tree and listened to the nature around us.
Friendship
Friendship is the most important thing in the world. Nothing can overcome true friendship. Your friends when you were young are your lunch buddies or person you jump rope and play dolls with. But when you are older they are like your sisters and brothers. The one that you would take a bullet for. You know all their secrets and they know yours. You can sit with them for hours and just talk about anything and everything until your stomach hurts from laughing to much. They are the people you can sing loud with when your favorite song comes on the radio our take random pictures with in the car. They're the ones you can make up funny dances with or do each others hair. They're the crazy ones you will always know what they are about to say and say it at the same time just to freak them out. They are the ones your parents will treat like their own and tease them like crazy. They are the ones you can cry to when you break up. They are the ones to go threaten to beat up your ex after you cry to them. They are much more then a friend, they are family.
The Locket
The scarlet crystals shine in the sun
The last piece I have of you
You couldn't hold on, the darkness won
The scarlet crystals shine in the sun
I loved you with all my heart, but now we're done
But I still love you, I know it's true
The scarlet crystal shine in the sun
The last piece I have of you
That Summer:
In the summer they appeared
Over night these garnish plants bloomed
An explosion of varieties among the garden
I marveled at the strange and vibrant peddles
Fiery halos beholding fluttering wings
Wildflowers stretched across for miles
Citrus orchards simply beholding a blossom
Water lilies took firm root
Flowers defined me for that summer
My view changed on the world
Thriving in my father's garden
