Dreams do come true.
I'm ProjectInspired A.K.A Sydney.
For my whole life I've wanted to own my own beauty shop.
I loved to read books about beauty back whenever I was 10.
I was born and raised in Ohio, but now I live in Mississippi.
I couldn't ask for more.
I have a loving family, caring friends, a shelter to live under, and food. Well here's my story:
I was 7 years old, and everyone was going out for playtime. My teacher had owned a Beauty Shop. and I asked her what you had to do, how it was like, and more. She told me how amazing it was, and how cool it was, but I had to wake up early in the morning and open the shop. I had to do lots of things. I was ready for that. I wanted that. She told me if that's what I wanted to do, do it. She told me I could do anything in this world. I could do whatever I wanted to. All I wanted to be happy was a small store with beauty products. To this day I've never forgotten those words Ms. Smith said to me, and I will never give up. I'm not exactly sure how to make my own store, so I'm saving up money, and calling people who build stores every chance I get! One day there will be a small beauty shop called, Project Inspired.

Major Donts!

Don't pop pimples. It's tempting, but here's why you shouldn't: Popping pimples can push infected material further into the skin, leading to more swelling and redness, and even scarring. If you notice a pimple coming before a big event, like the prom, a dermatologist can often treat it for you with less risk of scarring or infection.

Avoid touching your face with your fingers or leaning your face on objects that collect sebum and skin residue like your phone. Touching your face can spread the bacteria that cause pores to become inflamed and irritated. To keep bacteria at bay, wash your hands before applying anything to your face, such as treatment creams or makeup.

If you wear glasses or sunglasses, make sure you clean them frequently to keep oil from clogging the pores around your eyes and nose. If you get acne on your body, try not to wear tight clothes. They don't allow skin to breathe and may cause irritation. Scarves, headbands, and caps can collect dirt and oil, too.

Remove your makeup before you go to sleep. When buying makeup, make sure you choose brands that say "noncomedogenic" or "nonacnegenic" on the label. Throw away old makeup that smells or looks different from when you first bought it.

Keep hair clean and out of your face to prevent additional dirt and oil from clogging your pores.

Protect your skin from the sun. It may seem like a tan masks acne, but it's only temporary. A tan may worsen your acne, not improve it. Tanning also causes damage to skin that will eventually lead to wrinkles and increase your risk of skin cancer.

Skin Tip #1

Acne can be tough! Here is a way to get rid of it:

Wash your face twice a day (no more) with warm water and a mild soap made for people with acne. Gently massage your face with circular motions. Don't scrub. Overwashing and scrubbing can cause skin to become irritated. After cleansing, the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD) recommends applying an over-the-counter (no prescription needed) lotion containing benzoyl peroxide. This will decrease oil and bacteria.

Putting honey on your face 2 times a day can help, also! It makes your skin very smooth, and gets ride of acne!

Nothing beats a natural look,

Sometimes you feel ugly without your makeup. Trust me, I'm a girl. I know. But you are NOT ugly! If you believe you're ugly just because someone dumped you, their loss. I haven't seen you yet, or even know what you look like, but I know that you're beautiful already. Do you believe me now? Back to what I was saying, sometimes you just need makeup. Sometimes you don't even feel ugly without it, just face it. makeup is something we all need, and can't quit using. That's just life.

YES,

I give beauty/skin/clothes tips.

I work really hard on it, even though I don't really work... I try new things, just so everyone can be happy with their looks.

No, we do not have a website yet. Somene has taken www.projectinspired.com so I'm working on a new name people can call us other than project inspired. If we ever do get a website, it'll be a weebly one. I'm not a pro, and I don't have 30 dollars to cough up just for a website. I'm just a normal 14 year old, not rich.

Call me crazy, but I'm currently searching stuff, calling people, and looking things up on the internet and books because I want my own beauty shop. It'll be called Project Inspired if my dream comes true, wish me luck!
