hey there beautiful! :)

Alright, so if I have you're attention, my name is Meghan (:
I'm fouteen, and blow out the candles every December 23rd.
Right now, you're on my Witty Writer Page(:
I've been writing stories since sixth grade, and improved each year. I'm always writing something new. There will always be a new chapter and story post.
If you read/follow my stories, and you want info on a new story, comment and I'll post the info :)
I also love to sing, act, laugh, and be with everyone I care about. Without them, I probably wouldn't be here writing right now.
But I love you all so much, and thank you so much if you took the time to read this before you read a story.
NONE OF THESE EVENTS OCCURED IN MY LIFE. I'VE HAD PEOPLE ASK.
Believe me, people in school thought so too when they read them -_-
But take some time to read different stories when they're posted, because I promise that you'll enjoy them<3

Oh, and I also post other forms of literature, not just stories<3 Hope you like those too<333

xoxoxoxo
Everything takes a leap of faith.
Everything takes a moment of doubt, and a second of trust.
Everything in life should at least take thought.

Take a moment to step into a whole new world, and read between the lines. Maybe you'll find the new chapter to yur own story

Quotes by Punkprincess97

Could you ever understand something beautiful?

Something with a unique way to shine a light so radiant, that it almost makes you go blind? Think of the feeling you get when you look at what you think is the most beautiful thing in the world. Your heart either skips a beat, speeding up and cannot stop racing, or it slows down, beginning to feel warm and sends a random smile to your lips. In your eyes, what is the most beautiful thing in the world? A flower? Landscape? Person? Tell me, what is it?
Show me what you think is beautiful...
if you can choose something.
Not just one thing in the world is beautiful. So many beautiful things and beautiful people live on this world....can you see them all?

Breath-taking.

That is all I can think of when I see the light of the full moon break through the midnight mist.
The chalky, faded clouds brush over the sky like a paintbrush against paper...yet the moonlight still breaks through. The silver light spills over the deep navy and indigo. Streetlights shine below, but nothing can compare to the round diamond in the sky.

Welcome To My Life
Chapter 13

"Want me to tell him?" Nick asks, almost touching the door.
"No...I will." I whisper. I brush his hand to the side, and I open the door. I saw that dinner was about to start, and Jeydon was already at the doorway. "Where were you?" he asks with a smile. But when he saw Nick behind me, that smile faded.
"With me." he snaps.
I look back at him, and say, "Shh. Don't start."
He rolled his eyes, and motioned me to move forward. So we both come in, and he closes the door behind me.
"Am I missing something?" Jeydon asks.

I begin to feel the tears well up in my eyes, but I blink them away. "Look...I know why I'm really here." I manage to say.
Jeydon chuckled. "You're here because Mom and Dad wanted a daughter, but couldn't have a baby after me."
I shook my head. "I don't think that's the only reason."
His eyes went from still and calm, to worried and they began to fidgit. "Wh-what do you mean?"
I was about to say it, but Nick butted in. "I told her. Everything."
Jeydon's emerald eyes went wide, and glared at Nick. "What...did he tell you."
"Everything you told him. How I'm only here because you want to keep your family together and I bet none of you even care for me." I said, beginning to cry.
"You said that to me you moron!" Nick s
He slightly gasped and snaps, "That isn't true! When I said that, I was only telling you what I heard. I never said that was the reason why I want her here."
"There's no way you could care for her like I do!"
"YOU'RE the one who's going to use her, and I'm not letting you!"

Nick gave Jeydon a hard shove at his chest. "What are you gonna do? I comforted her, I cared for her. You had no idea how hard she cried and how much she wants to leave."
"Meghan, don't listen to him!" Jeydon says, with tears rolling down his cheeks.
My eyes went back forth from Jeydon to Nick. I just couldn't do anything. I felt as helpless as I was when I was young. I never knew what to do, because I never knew what was right.
"Please...I promise you it isn't what you think! Let me explain!"
"You've said enough. She doesn't want you, I hope you know that."
"What are you saying?"
"She wants me."

Jeydon laughed at him. He had a grin, but I could tell he was hiding tears. "No. She doesn't."
"Then why did we kiss on our bike trail? Oh, and I can take the blame for that, since I started it all."
Jeydon lost it all in that moment. He had a right hook at Nick's jaw, and a fight broke out. I was so numb, frozen and confused to think about stopping it, at the first moment at least. After a minute, I broke them up. "Stop! Both of you just stop!" Tears fell down my face, and my heart just tore apart. "I seriously don't know who to trust, okay?!"
They both panted, and looked at eachother, then me. Soon, they calmed down, and Nick just stormed out of the house. When the door slammed behind him, Jeydon looks at me.
"Meghan, I-"
"I need to be alone." I say, and I ran to my room, slamming that door as well.

Welcome To My Life
Chapter 12
(Jeydon's POV)

"Are you serious?" Nick asks me, when I poured my heart out to him and the guys the next day.
I nodded, wiping my wet eyes. I wasn't able to choke anything back, or make it stop. "Yeah....and they said that Meghan....could keep them together....sh-she needs to! They just can't!"
I ran my damp fingers in my hair, and I felt Dakota's hand pat my back. "Look, Jey-"
"She has to! I know it will!" I shouted.
I felt Nick's cold stare come to me. I knew he had something to say, and no surprise, he did.
"That's just using her." he snapped.
I looked up. My eyes filled with tears were now filled with anger.
"I mean, is that the whole reason you even got her?" I thought he'd laugh, but he looked at me, so serious it actually hurt. "Dude, I mean...I bet you're pretending to like her too! You want her to feel welcome to you, just so she can save your family. That's actually more selfish than you think."

What he said to me hurt, but I wasn't sure why. I knew it wasn't true. But it was just the fact he had the nerve to say something like that to me, is just what made it hurt.
I stood up, and said, "None of that is true. Nick, I do have feelings for her. And that's one of the reasons she's staying."
"Is the other reason that she could keep your parents together?"
I stood there silently.
"Yeah, come on. Admit it. I mean, you're saying to someone who lost their parents already. I know what the feelings are like."
I knew Nick's parents were divorced. I remember how he told us he would do anything to get them back, and if he knew before, he would've done anything to keep them together. That's probably what he thinks I'm thinking, but what he thinks I'm doing about it is hurtful and selfish.

I sat myself back down, while Dakota and Anthony just watched in shock.
"You might as well tell her...instead of having her learn later and get hurt even more." Nick's voice sounded angry, and just so sure of what he was saying.
I tried to swallow the lump in my throat, and I just couldn't bear to even look at him now.

(Meghan's POV)

Later that day, when I thought the entire band left, I found Nick at the door around six. "What's up?" I asked him.
He looked at me, guilty. I could tell by the look in his eyes, he had something to tell me, and it was something that would be hard to tell. "Mind if we take a walk?" he asks.
I felt the fear in my heart begin, but there was something else that I felt too. Nick had his hand out to mine, and with complete surprise and faith, I took it.

We walked all the way up the street, and down a trail that the guys knew.
"How come you're taking me here?" I asked.
Nick sighed, and put his hands in the pockets of his dark jeans. "I wanted to talk to you....without anyone getting in the way."
I nodded, and sat down on a big rock. "What do you need to tell me?" I asked.
He looked down at his sneakers, and said, "It's about Jeydon."
I blushed at his name, but still looked at him with concern. "What about him?"
He swallowed, and then looked up at me. "Meghan....he's using you."
My mind went fuzzy, and I looked at him puzzled. "What?"
"He's using you." Nick repeated.

I stood up. "You're lying." I snapped in defense.
Nick was frowning, and took one step closer to me. "I really wish I was." His pale blue eyes were locked with mine, and he tried to touch my face, but I backed away. "Meghan...he said that the only reason you were there was because...his parents are getting divorced. He overheard them say that maybe a second child...like the daughter they wanted....could help."
I actually felt my heart break, and I fell back down on the rock. "Nick....y-you're lying. I know it."
"No, I'm not."
"He told me how much of a liar you are!" I snapped, holding the tears back.
"Apparently you have no clue how much of a liar he is." Nick said, sitting next to me. "He just told me that he's keeping you here and getting closer because he thinks you can keep everything held together. That's the only reason they have you. I'm only telling you this because I care more than he does."
"Stop! Nick please stop!" I said, sobbing now.

He just sat next to me silently, and looked into my eyes. "I only want you to know that I would never hurt you like he is."
"Why should I believe you?" I snapped.
"He told me himself. I wouldn't lie to you."
I wanted to push him away and run up that trail. I wanted to run somewhere so far, I could just be alone. Like I've always been.
"I knew I shouldn't have gotten close..." I whispered. My hands shook, and I could feel my heart drain to that empty feeling I've felt for six years.
But Nick slipped his fingers around mine, and he said, "I think there's only one person you can really trust."
I looked up at him, and he was closer to me. He held the gaze in my eyes, and I felt like I was watching a better future already.
In the shock and heat of the moment, Nick pressed his lips to mine. Our hands stayed held, and it felt so gentle and hypnotizing. When he let me go, I wanted to kiss him again, but instead, I whispered, "I think that only person is you."

Nick didn't smile. He just helps me up, and says, "I promise you...I'm helping you with this. I'm not letting him treat you like this."
I took that offer, because this was going to be the last family to ever treat me this way ever again.

Welcome To My Life
Chapter 11

(Jeydon's POV)

Later that night, I heard Meghan's music quietly playing. Usually, she's never up at night, at least, not that I know of. I quietly made my way to her room, and she was on her bed. She was faintly listening to music, and reading her book. She looked up at me, and smiled. "Hi." she whispers.
"Hi." I whisper back, closing her door.
She moved over on her bed, leaving room for me to lay next to her. "What are you doing up? Didn't you take your pills?"
I shook my head. "No...I didn't want to."
"You should. You need sleep."
Again, I shook my head. "I don't feel restless."
"But maybe that's why you and Nick fight so much. You must be a little cranky." She giggled, and only tried to lighten my mood.

I only half smiled. She just sighs, and then rests her head on my shoulder. "I actually feel safe, Jeydon."
My smile was full now. I've been waiting for so long to hear her say that. I kissed her head, and whispered, "I hope so."
In a few minutes, and to my biggest surprise, we both, were asleep.

Around 2AM, I woke up. I could hear my parents arguing downstairs. I slowly slipped away from Meghan, who was completely asleep, and in her dreams. I kissed her head again, and quietly made my way downstairs, and heard things I wouldn't have expected to hear.
"We can't keep doing this." I heard my mom say, and I could tell she was choking back tears.
"I know...but Gina-"
"It isn't working! Honey it just isn't!"
"You said that this would make it work!" my dad snaps back at her.
What makes what work? Their relationship? No. No please! Don't divorce, please.

"Look, you and I have always wanted a son and daughter, like those movie families. I thought that having her here would help, but it isn't. It may help Jeydon, but it isn't helping us." my dad says.
"We can't. Jeydon's finally happy, and so is Meghan."
"But we aren't, Gina. That's the problem."
I could already feel the tears roll down my cheeks.
Then I heard my dad sigh. I could tell he was rubbing his head, and pacing the room.
"Gina, you know how hard it's been."
"I do, but please! Can't we put them first?"
"You and I have been putting Jeydon first for years!"

I actually felt my heart drop. I knew it was true.
"A month! Give it just one more month!" my mom begged. "Our love will work! Please!"
My dad sighed. "If anything better happens, for all of us, in one month....then we can work this out more."
I started to shake, and I quietly tried to get upstairs. When I got to my room, I closed the door, and fell on the floor. I pulled at my auburn hair, and sobbed to myself.
I knew this would happen, but I didn't want to believe it.
She can help us. I know it.

Welcome To My Life
Chapter 9 (last two chapters were supposed to be part 1 and 2 of 8, not 7 lol)

After weeks of reherals, the Battle of the Bands came up. While we waited backstage, my body shook. My palms began to sweat, and my heard pounded against my chest like a lightning bolt striking the ground.
"We're up next." Jeydon said, placing a hand on my shoulder.
With natural instincts, I flinched and pulled away. "Ready?" he asks.
I nod uneasily, and soon, the announcer says, "Introducing, Evermore."
The crowd cheered, and then he says, "With their new lead singer, Meghan Talbot!"
With that, I was pulled onto the stage.

The guitars and drums kicked in, and so did I.
"I throw all of your stuff away
Then I clear you out of my head
I tear you out of my heart
And ignore all your messages
I tell everyone we are through
'Cause I'm so much better without you
But it's just another pretty lie
'Cause I break down
Every time you come around
(Uh, Oh Uh, Oh)
So how did you get here under my skin
Swore that I'd never let you back in
Should've known better
Then trying to let you go
'Cause here we go go go again
Hard as I try I know I can't quit
Something about you is so addictive
We're fallin' together
You think that by now I'd know
'Cause here we go go go again
You never know what you want
And you never say what you mean
But I start to go insane
Everytime that you look at me
You only hear half of what I say
And you're always showing up too late
And I know that I should say goodbye
But it's no use
Can't be with or without you
(Uh, Oh Uh, Oh)
So how did you get here under my skin
Swore that I'd never let you back in
Should've known better
Then trying to let you go
'Cause here we go go go again
Hard as I try I know I can't quit
Something about you is so addictive
We're fallin' together
You think that by now I'd know
'Cause here we go go go again
And again and again and again
I throw all your stuff away
And then I cleared you out of my head
And I tore you out of my heart
(Uh, Oh Uh, Oh)
So how did you get here under my skin
Swore that I'd never let you back in
Should've known better
Then trying to let you go
'Cause here we go go go again
Hard as I try I know I can't quit
Something about you is so addictive
We're fallin' together
You think that by now I'd know
'Cause here we go go
Here we go again
Here we go again
Should've known better
Then trying to let you go
'Cause here we go go go again
Again and again and again and again"

At the end, the crowd cheered as loud as they possibly could. Jeydon jumped away from his guitar and hugged me. When he let go, we blushed, bowed, then got off stage.
"You were AWESOME!" they all told me, giving me hugs as well.
It actually felt good to let them hug me, and soon, the band they always lost to, Unorganized Chaos, began to play. They played "No More Sorrow" by Linkin Park, and I actually found my foot tapping along.
But in the end, the announcer shocked us all.
"The winner of the 2011 Battle Of The Bands...is EVERMORE!"

The five of us jumped and screamed as we ran onstage, taking our trophy, and screaming more.
"Now, you kids haven't won in, three years?" he asks us.
Jeydon nodded. "We couldn't have done it without Meghan." he said, looking at me and smiling.
The crowd went in awe. The announcer even grinned. "Is she your girlfriend?"
Jeydon looked at me. His cheeks were pink, and his smile was wide.
I knew he liked me. I actually liked him too.
I even trusted him.
So I took his hand, and I said, "Yes, I am." into the mic.
The crowd cheered louder, and I couldn't help but laugh.

Later that night, Jeydon's family took us out to eat.
"Congradulations guys." his dad said to us.
I smiled, and we all said, "Thank you."
They smiled wide at us, but then I could feel their looks as they listened and saw Jeydon and me. They saw how we smiled, and held hands.
I could feel a cold trail of sorrow blow by me.
But I brushed it aside, because I was finally happy.

Welcome To My Life
Chapter 7, Part 2

(Meghan's POV)

While talking to Dakota and Anthony, I noticed that Dakota looked past my shoulder, and his eyes went wide. "Not again!" he shouted.
They both pushed past me, and when I saw what they were running to, I saw that Nick and Jeydon were fighting. I ran over to them, and I saw that they tried to break it up.
You could hear the ear piercing swears they shouted at eachother, and it almost drove me insane.
"KNOCK IT OFF!" I shouted.
But they didn't. While Nick tried to get more hits at Jeydon, Anthony held him back, while Dakota did the same to Jeydon.

When they both were pulled away, I saw that Jeydon had a cut lip and a bruise on the side of his left eye.
"What was that all about?" I snapped.
"She says it like this was the first time." Dakota said to Jeydon.
Even with pain, he smirked.
"Can I have an answer please?"
"Nothing you need to know about. But we do this, like every three months." Jeydon said, wiping his lip.
"Let me help." I said. I placed his sweatshirt sleeve over my hand, and gently ran my thumb across his lower lip.

I felt them curl into a smile, and he said, with my thumb still there, "Thank you."
My heart caught up with me in that moment. Hearing someone say that, especially the way he said it, made me warm up, and I smiled too.
"You're welcome, Jeydon."
I took my hand away, and soon Nick and Anthony came over. Nick was just about in the same shape, only there were a couple scratches on his cheek, and above his right eyebrow.
"You two cool now?" I said.
Nick rolled his blue eyes.
"What was it even about?"
"Wouldn't you like to know." Nick snaps at me.
"Don't talk to her that way." Jeydon growled.

Nick chuckled. "Whatever."
"Can you two just get along?" I begged.
They both looked at me.
"Please? We need you to." I made the puppy face, and then they looked at eachother.
"Sorry..." Nick said.
"I'm sorry too." Jeydon said. Then they hugged, and I smiled at them.
"Good, this is how it should be."
But when they let go, there was still a grin on Nick's face.
A grin that I knew I just couldn't trust.
