Another year has come and
gone.
2011;
The year I move
on.
My boyfriend was at a fair, I told him to go up to a random stranger
and tell them that his girlfriend says hi and that they're beautiful. He did.
The old man he said it to couldn't stop smiling and told my boyfriend:
"Your girl is a keeper.
Don't be foolish and lose this one.
She just made my entire day."
My boyfriend then replied:
"Welcome to the club.
If you met her she'd make your entire life.
She has with mine.
I don't intend to let her ever slip away."
I was a hundred miles away. I didn't sleep that night, I was too happy.
It's a shame he didn't listen to that old man. That he didn't chase me when I walked away from him that night a few months later.
I really do miss him.
